Xianyu stared blankly at the syringe in the box.
He seemed unable to comprehend what it did, simply staring at it intently.
Guan Liang was furious.
He abruptly reached out, trying to snatch it from Xianyu.
Xianyu instinctively moved the syringe farther away.
Guan Liang could only withdraw his hand. He stood up and looked down at Zandar.
"Zandar, you lunatic! Are you trying to make an enemy of the entire Xianzhou Alliance?"
Zandar remained unmoved. "An enemy of the Xianzhou? No, you're simply too arrogant."
Guan Liang sneered. "Arrogant? You're killing him!"

Seeing this, Zandar became a little more patient even when speaking to Guan Liang.
He offered an explanation.
"Your limited understanding isn't your fault."
"Your mistake is being too arrogant."
"You wouldn't encourage a paralyzed patient to get up and walk, yet you'd tell someone with depression to cheer up, and someone with anxiety not to overthink things."
"Isn't that arrogance?"
"Why can't you respect his wishes and go along with what he wants?"
Xianyu sat quietly where he was, without speaking up to stop their argument.
Zandar couldn't help sighing.
"You may not know this, but he has a coagulation disorder."
Xianyu slowly raised his head and looked at Zandar.
He remembered now.
Back then, he had wondered, Don't Golems have no blood?
Fortunately, the system had given him the "Mental Illness" buff, which had kept any problems with his body from showing up in the postbattle examination.
But that buff
