"hey, buddy. wake up."

"...girl, you too. wake up."

"looks like you two... fell down here."

"my..."

"my name..."

"my name is..."

Murder abruptly woke in the darkness.

Beside him, Killer rubbed her eyes and got up as well.

"hey there, you two. i'm Sans. Sans the skeleton."

"welcome to my super-duper awesome Lookout."

"this is where i keep an eye on the humans who fall down here."

Before them stood a white-haired man wearing ill-fitting Royal Attire, smiling at the pair with his hands behind his back.

"listen, you two."

"you've probably already met [it], right?"

"creepy, huh?"

He winked at them.

"for a long time, everyone looked, uh, like that."

"another Sans shared her thoughts on everything that happened to us."

"i'll take you to talk to her."

Just then, Killer raised her hand with a question.

"Um, by the other Sans, you mean...?"

Hearing that question, Murder knew she was thinking the same thing he was.

Not counting the two of them, there were two Sanses in the same universe.

And he had said "everyone."

Murder immediately had a rather bad feeling about this.

"other Sanses? don't worry, girl. sadly, you're about to be forced to face them. a real bone-breaker."

Tale's_end Sans smiled.

"follow me. i happen to know a shortcut."

Wearing glasses, Science Sans carefully examined the Blueprint before her.

"how's it going, Science Sans? i brought you a few friends."

Tale's_end Sans's unexpected visit startled Science Sans.

She took off her glasses and studied her visitors.

"here she is. you two, introduce yourselves to her. i'll leave you alone."

Tale's_end Sans politely closed the door behind him and left the room.

"...yo, you two. i'm Sans. Sans the skeleton."

"...but everyone else calls me Science Sans."

"Well, we're both Sanses too."

Murder gave a simple introduction to who the two of them were.

"well... so, you've seen those things too, right?"

"we always call them [it]."

"at first, we Sanses thought there was only one of those things here."

"then we saw another, and after that, god."

Science Sans's silence undoubtedly spoke volumes.

"So..."

Killer tilted her head.

"...where exactly did they come from?"

"well..."

"heh heh... as for the origins of [it]..."

"...that'll absolutely blow your mind!!"

Science Sans's eyes lit up.

Murder: "Really, it's that amazing? Then where did they come from?" (Deadpan.)

"...honestly, i don't know either."

Science Sans rubbed her head and gave an awkward but polite smile.

"for convenience, we call them [Entities]."

"they're like... you know about Amalgamates, right?"

Science Sans asked the pair before explaining.

"Of course. We both know a fair bit about Amalgamates."

Murder and Killer both nodded. As Sanses, they knew at least something about such things.

There was a gap in their knowledge, though: Murder had discovered a way to erase Amalgamates through his research, while Killer had never studied them.

"...good. that makes this easier to explain."

"[Entities] are similar to Amalgamates, but they can't be killed by normal means."

"trust me, i've tried the abnormal means too."

Science Sans spread her hands.

"they're like a new species, neither human nor monster."

"everyone here is at a complete loss about what to do with them."

With that, Science Sans sighed softly.

"...A way... I might have one."

Murder looked up, one of his pupils alternating between blue and yellow.

"uh... buddy? are you... joking?"

Murder's words truly shocked Science Sans.

"He isn't joking. I swear on Nightmare's reputation."

Killer offered up her noble oath.

"uh... all right, i believe you. follow me. [it] is nearby."
