Suddenly, a line of text appeared in front of Killer.

Before Killer could puzzle over what the words meant, the teleportation chime of a large ring sounded beside her ear.
Killer was teleported to Angel Island.
An Angel Island that was burning.
The whole world had become a sea of fire, with not a trace of life anywhere.
A long path stretched out before her, and it was the only one. Clearly, she was supposed to run down it.
"Another demon who likes playing games..."
With no other choice, all Killer could do was give that thing what it wanted-run down the only path.
Killer was a fast runner. Back in Stage 2, she had often run all over the place, getting plenty of exercise without even realizing it. A little running now really was nothing to her.
"Did it make me run on purpose...?"
Killer was a little suspicious. Of the three of them, she was definitely the best runner and the one who had gotten the most exercise.
As Killer considered the intentions of whoever was behind this, numerous phantom images of the terrifying Sonic from earlier suddenly appeared in her field of vision.
Those terrifying Sonics struck all sorts of frightening poses before her eyes, as if determined to scare Killer to death right there.
And this particular Killer happened to be one of the more timid ones across the many timelines.
