Killer landed on a floating platform, with lava hovering in the air below.
"Hehehehehehehehehehe..."
An eerie laugh came from ahead. Killer opened her eyes, and an enormous spider came into view.
Calling it a spider wasn't quite accurate.
It was a gigantic, terrifying spider with a hedgehog's upper body.
The spider grinned wickedly at Killer, its mouth stretching all the way across its cheeks, like some hedgehog Clown from Gotham City.
Bzzzt-!
Laser beams shot from the spider-hedgehog's eyes at high speed, narrowly missing Killer.
Miss!
"What a disgusting hedgehog..."
Killer dodged left and right, gracefully evading every laser beam.
Smack!
She pushed hard against the floor and leaped, that familiar dagger flashing into her hand.
"I should've enchanted my dagger with Bane of Arthropods."
Whoosh-
The blade flashed, drawing a trace of black fluid.
The spider wasn't slow either! As though it had Spider-Sense, it, too, managed to narrowly dodge Killer's slash!
Its speed was nothing to scoff at!
"It dodged...?"
Killer was a little surprised. She hadn't expected it to evade a slash that should have taken off one of its legs.
Without giving Killer time to react, the spider-hedgehog raised the enormous biological mass on its back and aimed it straight at her.
Pfft~~
White silk sprayed toward Killer. If that stuff hit her, she would definitely be immobilized for a while.
The knife in Killer's hand instantly whirled at high speed, tracing an arc that cut all the silk around her into fine strands.
But that was exactly what the spider-hedgehog wanted.
A huge amount of silk stuck to the dagger in Killer's hand, drastically reducing its lethality.
"Hmm...?"
Killer looked at the dagger, now useless as a weapon against her enemy, twirled a strand of white hair between her fingers, then tucked the dagger
