"Oh my, you must be the young Linde that Gaster told me about."
Before Linde stood an elderly skeleton who looked a lot like Papyrus. He was the blurry figure from a moment ago.
"You are...?" Linde felt as though his brain couldn't quite keep up.
"I'm Semi. Gaster should have told you about me already." As Semi spoke, he walked out of the stable with Linde.
"Grandpa Semi... Oh! I remember now! Sans and Papyrus's grandfather?" Linde finally remembered a video creator's analysis of this character. "You must have been alive for a very long time, right?"
Semi nodded. "Indeed. You see, Gorson and I go back to the same era."
"Hmm... Anyway... Let's head back to Undyne's place first!" Linde said, walking toward Undyne's house...
"WAAAH!!!"
Suddenly, a startled cry rang out behind them. It was Papyrus, who had come for training.
"MY GOODNESS!!" Papyrus ran up and studied Semi curiously. "Human, there's a skeleton beside you whom I've never seen before!"
"Heh heh heh, it seems you still have much to learn." Semi chuckled and patted the back of his own hand. "Papyrus, I've known about you for quite some time."
"REALLY?!!" Papyrus was thrilled. "To think that I, the great Papyrus, am already so widely renowned! NYEH HEH HEH HEH HEH!!!"
Grandpa Semi walked to Undyne's front door and looked at the large building. "I remember this being a little square building back in the day. I never imagined it would change so much."
Just then, Undyne came out to greet Papyrus. "Huh? This... You... Could you be old Mr. Semi?"
Linde raised an eyebrow. He really hadn't expected Undyne to know Grandpa Semi.
"My idol, Grandpa Gorson, told me about you before!" Undyne hurried forward excitedly. "He said you were much better than him. Could you teach me?"
Semi paused, then burst out laughing. "Ha ha ha! Child, he meant I was better at chess."
Hearing that, Undyne felt a little disappointed. She had thought she could learn more combat techniques.
Undyne didn't know why Grandpa Semi was here, but she didn't want to know either. He was here now, so what was there to get hung up on?
"By the way, Papyrus, just in case you didn't know, I should tell you that Semi is your grandfather. Your actual grandfather." Undyne thought for a moment. "Never mind, come back for training tomorrow. Spend today talking with your grandpa."
Now Papyrus was completely bewildered. How had he suddenly ended up with a grandfather?
Semi patted Linde on the back. "Once you've finished your business, come find me at Papyrus's house. I'll tell you a few things you need to know."
With that, he headed home with Papyrus. Back inside Undyne's house, Linde felt a little hungry and instinctively opened his inventory-
A book sat in the most conspicuous spot. Without a second thought, he took it out and began reading.
Noticing that Linde seemed unusually quiet, Frisk instinctively looked toward him. When she saw the book in his hands, she checked the inventory...

"Wait! Linde... You..." Frisk rushed forward to snatch the book away, but Linde dodged her.
"Stop messing around. I'm working out some magic!" Linde waved her off.
Yeah, right! Frisk cursed inwardly. Like I'd believe you!
Yet, for some reason, she eventually found herself walking behind Linde anyway.
Huh? So it's just a normal comic? Then why give it such a weird title?
Thinking of her earlier misunderstanding, Frisk was so embarrassed she could have dug out an entire apartment with her toes.
As Linde read the comic, an unsettling magical aura gradually gathered in his hand.
"SANS!!! COME OUT AND LOOK!" Papyrus shouted outside Sans's bedroom door.
"What's up, bro?" Sans opened the door in his pajamas.
Then he saw Grandpa Semi standing in the doorway. After a moment of stunned silence, he understood everything.
"Wow, finally got to meet you, Grandpa."
Papyrus: ??!
So I was the only one who didn't know he was my grandpa, huh?
