(Boohoo, yesterday I wrote a little smut fic about Linde and Frisk and posted it in the group chat, and now I can't look either of them in the eye.)
"Your Highness, please return home for a visit..." Empty Armor said.
Carlret waved impatiently. "I already told you I'm not going back."
The two children watched the drama from the sidelines, silently observing Carlret and Empty Armor's back-and-forth.
"When you get back, tell Father that I really don't want to be controlled like that. I want to stay out here. It's not like I'm the Crown Prince, so there's no need for all that fuss." Carlret sounded rather displeased.
Empty Armor was about to say something, but Carlret cut him off. "And tell him to stop sending people all over the world to look for me."
Empty Armor sighed. "Your Highness... you are a member of the Royal Family, after all. His Majesty is only concerned about you..."
Carlret sighed. "Fine, how about this? Once I'm done spending time out here, I'll go back for a visit..."
"It's a deal!" Empty Armor agreed at once, then dashed off as though afraid Carlret would change his mind.
"Well, well, Your Highness. You kept that pretty well hidden," Frisk teased.
Linde couldn't help nodding too. "You really don't put on any airs. I never would've guessed."
Carlret gave a wry chuckle. Seeing that the two children's attitude toward him hadn't changed made him quite happy. After all, he didn't want people treating him like some lofty, untouchable figure.
Just then, something in the distance caught Carlret's eye.
