Flame Capital and the Sunfire Church (Main characters, organizational structure, and power system) [Ongoing updates]
[Regional Map] Simplified version
[Concept Art] Draft
The Flame Capital and the Sunfire Church were a faction I imagined based on the world of Hollow Knight.
There simply wouldn't be much to write if I limited myself to Hallownest or Pharloom, so I might as well create something original from the outset.
Incidentally, the Flame Capital would definitely come into contact with those two powers later on. For now, though, the protagonist was proceeding cautiously to avoid the pitfalls of the previous gods.
I put the detailed setting information here specifically so I wouldn't have to repeat it over and over in the main story and get accused of padding the word count.
Likewise, regional customs, insect species, and the power system were all expanded strictly in accordance with the original setting. Even anything I had to invent wouldn't stray from its foundations.
I guarantee there won't be any illogical situations where someone inexplicably gets an overpowered cheat and wins outright.
Protagonist: Lin Jin, an ordinary player who was tormented by Silksong's difficulty until he died suddenly and transmigrated.

Sunfire God: The honorific Lin Jin chose for himself. His divinity resembled that of the God of Thunder and the God of Rainfall whom the Godseekers originally served. He was not formless, but a god of a physical phenomenon.
His divinity manifested as orange-red flames, symbolizing hope and order, with the three major properties of fire: light, heat, and reaction.
Flame Capital: A civilization situated half inside a mountain and half underground, with more than twenty-five distinct regions. Its lowest level was also the Abyss. There was no underground
