Green light, nothing but blinding green light everywhere.

"Avada..."

A wizard draped in a black robe raised his wand high, the face beneath his hood grim and terrifying, a scar running straight across his entire face from his forehead, and the corners of his mouth lifted high making him look like a demon walking out of hell.

Did a crimson pupil reflect a short, tiny goblin?

Looking closely, it seemed to be holding something in its arms?

"Kedavra!"

As the last syllable fell, the dazzling, ominous fluorescent green beam shot straight out.

The transparent veil swayed gently in midair.

"What is this...?"

Had he time-traveled again? Su Er reached out to touch his head, remembering how just a short while ago, he had been sent flying straight into the air by a reversing delivery truck on his way to work 996.

Who would have thought that as soon as he woke up, there was a green light.

Listening to the sound, it seemed to be-Avada Kedavra?

So, did he die again?

"Then where is this?"

"This is Godric's Hollow, but it's not Godric's Hollow." A gentle female voice sounded behind Su Er.

"Who is it?" Su Er turned his head abruptly, seeing a European face with a ponytail and a pale complexion in front of him.

"We gave this place a name-the Blurry Illusion Realm," the girl said to herself, her voice floating lightly in the air.

Only then did Su Er notice the environment here; the trees that should have been lush green were a lustrous, translucent white, and not just that, everything here seemed to be white.

"How did you get here?" Her eyes held endless loneliness, as if she had been wandering here for a long time.

"I..." Su Er was dazed for a moment. "It seemed to be magic."

"Oh." The girl gave a light jump, leaning against a tree trunk with her feet dangling in the air, swinging them back and forth.

"My name is Su Er, what's yours?" Su Er looked up at her.

"Me?" The girl tilted her head. "I don't remember," she said.

"But people all call me... Ariana."

"People?" Su Er keenly noticed the vocabulary in the girl's words. "Are there other people here?"

"Yes," she said. "There are many, many people, but a lot of them have left."

"Where did they go?" Su Er asked softly.

"I don't know." The girl shook her head, a trace of confusion flashing in her eyes. "It seemed like time was up, and then they left."

Just as Su Er was about to ask something else, soft calls rang out one after another in this translucent white space.

"You should go." Ariana gently jumped down from the tree branch and walked in front of Su Er.

"I should go?" Su Er asked in confusion. "Go where?"

Ariana didn't speak, a slight smile on her face.

She raised her hand and gently pushed Su Er on the shoulder.

"Wait, Ariana!"

"Ah!" Su Er woke up, his thin, tiny arms stretched forward.

A string of incomprehensible mumbling carried a sense of surprise in Su Er's ear, huh?

A pair of large hands gently picked him up; it was a kind-faced woman with a head of blonde hair.

How did he become an infant? Su Er was extremely surprised, bursting into another round of babbling and flailing his limbs.

It made the woman laugh out loud, and amidst the swaying, Su Er also saw a man with brown hair and a handsome appearance, whose light blue pupils looked gently at the woman.

Time is always hurried, quietly passing ten years.

Su Er also grew from a thin, tiny baby into a rosy-cheeked, handsome teenager today.

He also accepted his new identity, Su Er Ellison, which was his new name.

His adoptive mother Suli always talked about the day she found Su Er, saying that Su Er was a precious gift bestowed upon her by the heavens, the lucky angel of their family, because five years after finding Su Er, she successfully conceived a child.

This drove Mr. Ellison and Suli wild with joy.

As a side note, the name Su Er was seen by Suli on the interlayer of the swaddling clothes the day she found him.

"Brothe..." A little blonde girl stumbled as she ran toward the teenager writing and drawing by the table.

"Giggle~" Su Er caught the little cannonball crashing into his arms with a gaze full of gentleness, lifting her high, and the little girl let out a pleasant laugh like tinkling silver bells.

"Mama, say, Angel, call brothe to eat." Angel tried hard to get close to Su Er's ear and whispered softly.

"Okay." Su Er nodded with a smile. "Brothe is taking Angel to eat yum-yums."

Su Er forcefully placed Angel on his shoulders, and Angel giggled happily.

Hearing the laughter from the living room, Suli in the kitchen wore a smile of blissful amusement at the corners of her mouth.

"Eat more, darling." Using a serving spoon, Suli piled Su Er's plate high. "I learned a new dish from Mrs. Granger next door today. Taste it and see if it's good."

"That's enough, Mom." Su Er looked at the food on his plate and said helplessly.

"You should eat more. Look at you, you're so thin." Suli chattered away, using a fork to add a piece of broccoli to Angel's plate.

"I am not thin, Mom." Su Er put down his spoon, rolled up his sleeves, and made a flexing gesture. "I'm very strong."

"Giggle, big brother looks like a big macaque." Angel still remembered the monkeys she saw at the zoo a few days ago, and she laughed happily.

"Pfft." Suli paused for a moment, then burst into laughter.

Su Er's face turned dark in an instant.

Mealtime ended amidst Angel's continuous display of cuteness.

"Knock, knock." A knock on the door sounded. Angel's eyes lit up as she climbed down from her high chair and scurried toward the front door. The little one had recently taken a liking to the job of opening the door and was always tireless in doing so.

"Sister Granger." The little girl's sweet voice rang out.

"Hello, Angel." Accompanied by the voice and the sound of pattering footsteps, two girls, one big and one small, walked in.

It was the daughter of the Granger family who lived next door.

As it happened, this girl looked very much like the female lead in a movie Su Er had watched long ago-the same name, the same bushy hair, the same large eyes and delicate face, and a pair of large, prominent front teeth.

Su Er had not without suspicion wondered if this was the magical world of Harry Potter.

Whether it was that blinding green light at the beginning or the girl named Ariana in that glowing white world.

But how could that be?

He shook the thoughts out of his mind and greeted her with a smile. "Good afternoon, Hermione."

"Sorry to intrude, Mrs. Ellison. I'm here to deliver medicine for Angel." Just as Hermione was about to respond to Su Er, she caught sight of the smiling Mrs. Ellison and hurriedly lowered her head to greet her. However, looking at the thick stack of books she held in her arms, one could tell the little girl had more than just that on her mind.

Mr. and Mrs. Granger were both famous local dentists, running a dental clinic in London. Because of her brother's and father's pampering, Angel had accidentally developed tooth decay.

The so-called medicine was a tiny candy. Su Er had tasted it; the flavor was rich, and it even had an orange taste.

"Thank you." Mrs. Ellison smiled as she took a small transparent bottle. "You're here to see Su Er, aren't you?"

"N-no... no... no, no, no..." Hermione's face flushed as she shook her head, then quickly nodded again. "I'm here to work on homework with Su Er. The teacher assigned us a project, and Su Er and I happened to be put in the same group..."

The little girl chattered on and on about a great deal.

But Mrs. Ellison only nodded, her smile carrying a profound meaning.
