The Weasley Trick Workshop's mission was to bring people joy. In fact, Su Er had been the one to suggest handing out products for people to try, and the results looked very good.
Quite a few people decided to find the Weasley Brothers the next day and order some to prank their friends. It was easy to imagine the brothers receiving a huge stack of orders tomorrow. It looked as though the Galleons invested were about to yield some returns.
Once the merriment died down, people began discussing what that scream from the Golden Egg had actually hinted at.
How did a scream relate to the trial the Champions would face in the Second Task? It left them rather baffled.
Someone guessed they would have to pass by a female ghost.
Others guessed they would have to contend with the Cruciatus Curse, because the scream had been so chilling, as though whoever was screaming had been undergoing inhuman torture.
Of course, these guesses were only guesses. Su Er already had a definite answer in mind. He could skip all these steps that were meaningless to him and simply wait for the Second Task to begin in three months.
Still, he was not foolish enough to tell everyone their guesses were completely useless. Instead, he pulled Hermione over to sit on a nearby sofa, sipping pumpkin juice and exchanging whispers with her. Oh, if only Hannah had not been sitting beside them, smiling away as a third wheel.
The revelry lasted until midnight before finally winding down. Naturally, Hermione stayed in the Hufflepuff dormitory again, becoming Hannah's temporary neighbor in the next bed. Incidentally, Hannah had also joined the House-elf Liberation Front, becoming a "glorious" member of the organization.
