Even if he thought with his fingernails, he knew what these things meant to the United States.
These people could tear up contracts signed with the city government without the slightest hesitation, yet John had managed to compete with them and haul this stuff back.
Other than Stark Industries, only Taran Industries had enough clout to receive that kind of treatment.
"Thanks for your hard work, Adrian." John was greeting Adrian, who had driven back with the haul.
After joining Taran Industries, this man who had nearly gone bankrupt had successfully pulled himself back from the brink.
Taran Industries was a ten-billion-dollar company. Having such a powerful backer gave Adrian an extra layer of security.
Taran Industries handled the recycling and settlement for all the materials brought back.
Adrian made a tidy little profit.
Hearing John greet him, he approached with a beaming smile, overwhelmed by the attention. "Mr. Wick, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity."
John shrugged. "Ferdinand made a good suggestion. From a business owner's perspective, turning it down would have been stupid."
Adrian was delighted. His workers would no longer have to face the hardships of unemployment, either.
Taran Industries had restored the fairness he had been denied.
John waved goodbye to him, then turned to Orlov, who had returned from Washington.
