Fury, already in a foul mood, grew even more irritated.

"You want to check my ID?" he asked, thoroughly annoyed.

The officers did not check his ID after all.

They had chosen a better method.

As everyone knew, some extremist cops in the United States liked to treat friendly Black guys to the full empty-the-magazine package.

With Fury's looks, he received an even more lavish welcome.

The light turned green, and Fury had just started his car and entered the intersection.

On the other road, another police cruiser came hurtling toward him. Its front end slammed into the side of Fury's car, knocking it off course and into a barrier.

Then came cruisers from the front, the rear, and the right.

Four police cars surrounded Fury, cutting off every route.

The car's artificial intelligence alerted Fury that he was injured.

A black vehicle full of police officers sped over and stopped.

Armed officers stepped out.

Every officer drew a weapon and began delivering their gift package.

Bullets poured down. Even the bulletproof S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle was riddled with damage.

When they found they could not breach the car, more officers brought over a pneumatic hammer.

Every blow made the vehicle shake violently.

Fury lived up to his title as the King of Agents.

Using the onboard counterattack system, he fought his way out and restarted the car.

But the cost was steep.

He tore down the road, fortunate that the car was built to last.

Despite being pursued and cut off at every turn, he broke through the encirclement.

Just as escape seemed within reach, an uninvited guest quietly appeared.

He was no ordinary assassin. With a supermodel's physique, a metal arm, and a mask over his face, he raised his weapon and fired.

A violent explosion flipped the entire car.
