A hand reached out of the rubble.

Then Bucky hauled himself upward with one hand, his other hand gripping Steve's.

The shield had saved their lives.

Though both men were a little worse for wear, neither had died.

Maniac looked incredulous. "How is that possible?"

That move had never failed him. He had unleashed his full power, yet neither of them had died?

Thanks to the Vibranium Shield, both men had survived.

Howard's legacy had saved Steve's life once again.

The two climbed out of the rubble. Guardian's face twitched. "We can arrest them now, Mr. Stark."

Unfortunately, Tony did not look pleased with him.

Barton's eyes were red. "Natasha's gone."

"I'm right here."

Natasha had only just recovered from the aftereffects of Apparition when she heard someone say she was dead.

She walked over from the distant departure lounge.

"Natasha!" Barton hurried toward her.

"How did you..."

"It was the Witch." Fighting the urge to vomit, Natasha managed to say, "She got me out before the explosion started."

Rhodey thought of T'Challa. Surely Wakanda's future successor had not died here?

The thought had barely crossed his mind when he saw T'Challa, who had already removed his mask and still looked decidedly unwell.

His eyes, however, remained fixed on Natasha.

Clearly, he was still very unhappy about her betrayal.

Delfi was in even worse shape than either of them.

Apparition had never been this witch's specialty.

Yet she had been forced to take two people with her at once, one of whom was wearing a full suit of vibranium.

She had nearly collapsed from exhaustion.

Holding her in his arms, Gentleman told Guardian, "Looks like we're back where we started."

Yes, except the Tarmac was gone.

There were the Avengers led by Steve, and the faction led by Tony.
