John stared at the spaceship that had plunged into the lava and, after considerable thought, reached a conclusion.
"I really do need a driver."
He was beginning to miss the days when Ferdinand was around.
Still, there was some good news.
He had successfully reached Muspelheim.
How exactly had he confirmed that? The heat here had already begun melting the spaceship.
That was also why his spaceship had gone out of control and plunged into the lava.
He tapped his shoulder with his wand, and a fresh set of clothes appeared.
Golden patterns resembling scales emerged on his exposed skin.
Muspelheim certainly lived up to its name as the Land of Fire. The heat was like a sauna.
Exposed lava was everywhere.
There were no plants, either. Fortunately, the Fire Giants living here did not need to eat.
For the Fire Giants, this heat was practically paradise.
With his fire dragon constitution, John had no trouble here, either.
And without Niflheim's icy fog, there was nothing to obstruct his view.
Movement in the crust had thrust countless spikes up from the ground, each still warm to the touch.
Despite its harsh environment, however, the land was rich in minerals.
Perhaps because of the high temperatures and the constantly flowing lava, minerals here were far more abundant than elsewhere, and much purer.
John also found some rare minerals here.
If he could establish a trade route, the Wizarding Kingdom would never lack rare ores again.
Besides the Fire Giants, there were other fire creatures here as well.
John saw a horned Fire Demon flying swiftly along the ground.
There were also enormous Fire Beetles burrowing underground, leaving one deep pit after another in the surface like demolition machines.
Muspelheim was one of John's must-visit destinations.
