John stared at him. "You interfered with me."

He hadn't expected the Lost Wizard to have obtained a Time-Turner to take on the Wizard King, either.
"The fact that she could find me is very unusual in itself." John remained noncommittal as he said evenly, "You came here through a Time Flash. That's full of randomness."
"But this obscurus came straight for me. Something provided him with this stretch of history, or someone guided his coordinates."
When it came to understanding the forbidden, even a Legendary Auror was no match for the young John.
He held up two fingers and said, "Investigate it."
"You now have two ways to get back," John said. "Wait until the day you disappeared, then reappear. You should understand that."
Harry fell silent. Time-Turners couldn't be used excessively. During his previous time travel with Hermione, he had completed a series of tasks and then waited until the time of his departure.
