The massive Destroyer arrived on Earth through the Bifrost. Honestly, the Destroyer Armor wasn't much to look at, but the pressure it exuded was very real, especially for the Warriors Three and Sif, who knew its battle record.
Volstagg, who looked like a dwarf, instinctively tightened his grip on his hammer as he watched the Destroyer Armor approach. He glanced at his comrades beside him and said, "Damn it, the Destroyer Armor. This has to be Loki's doing. He doesn't want Thor returning to Asgard."

The Destroyer had already reached them with its heavy strides. The armor around its head suddenly lit up, and the section where its face should have been opened, firing a beam of thermal energy from its faceplate.
The Warriors Three and Sif hurriedly dodged. The beam struck the ground, triggering an explosion even though there was nothing there.
Fandral charged straight in with his sword, nimbly dodging another thermal beam from the Destroyer. He slashed hard at its armor, but all he produced was a shower of sparks. He hadn't inflicted any real damage at all.
The Destroyer moved fast. It raised an arm and smashed it into Fandral. With a bang, he went flying at least a dozen meters, bouncing twice after hitting the ground.
"Don't rush, Captain. It's not your turn yet."
Sitting on a block of cobblestone, Yang Bo watched with interest as the Warriors Three and Sif challenged the Destroyer. He reached out to stop Rogers from going over to help.
Rogers looked baffled. "They're in danger. They're no match for that armor."
