"I think you're going to need my 'private ride.'"

Kaecilius cracked a rare joke, then began surveying their surroundings.

Yang Bo stepped forward and patted Kaecilius's Armor, producing a series of thumps. "I feel like I can't live without you anymore. Hitching a ride is just too convenient."

Yang Bo studied their surroundings carefully. The place looked familiar, but he couldn't remember when he had seen it before.

All kinds of instruments and equipment lay wrecked. There were also plenty of people in S.H.I.E.L.D. uniforms lying on the floor. Their chests hadn't moved in all that time, which suggested their chances of survival were slim.

"Is this a S.H.I.E.L.D. base?"

"After all this time, S.H.I.E.L.D. still hasn't cleaned out the Hydra agents hiding in plain sight? Has Fury lost his touch?"

Yang Bo grumbled a little, wondering whether he should revive one or two people to ask what had happened here. But before he could go over and investigate, the entire space began shaking amid a series of muffled explosions.

"Quick, start the car!"

In fact, Kaecilius didn't need the reminder. A Portal had already opened, and both he and Yang Bo jumped through it. A moment later, the space behind them collapsed.

"There's always some scoundrel plotting against me!"

The Portal closed rapidly, but even so, some rubble spilled through, only to be sliced apart as it shut.

"No idea whether that was Hydra or S.H.I.E.L.D., but they sure were ruthless. Blowing themselves up when they can't win-that's straight out of the terrorist playbook."

Still grumbling, Yang Bo looked at the dense woods around them, then froze. He couldn't have been more familiar with this place.

Central Park in New York could be considered his home in the Marvel Universe.

Branches crisscrossed overhead, and moonlight filtered through the gaps
