Yang Bo fiddled with the Infinity Gauntlet on his hand, a satisfied smile on his face.
"Thor, I'm very happy with this gauntlet."
"Just look at the Infinity Gauntlet in your Asgard Vault. That size... I almost suspect it was made specifically for Thanos."
In the movies, the Infinity Gauntlet only fit Thanos and Hulk properly. Nobody else could use it. When Spider-Man Parker held it, it was almost as thick as his waist.
Thor said earnestly, "It was part of my father's collection. It was made to fit the Destroyer Armor."
Only then did Yang Bo understand.
"No wonder!"
Then he took a Tesseract out of his backpack. Asgard in Universe Two had already used the Tesseract to repair the Bifrost. He now had two of these things, so breaking one was no big deal. He beckoned to Thor and said, "Sorry for the trouble, but could you smash the Tesseract's outer shell for me?"
Thor nodded, raised Mjolnir, and brought it crashing down on the Tesseract with the force of thunder. With a sound like shattering glass, its shell broke apart, revealing the blue stone inside.
Yang Bo crouched down and picked the stone out of the fragments.
"The Space Stone... Pretty enough, but that shape leaves a lot to be desired."
The Infinity Stones were all rough and bumpy. Yang Bo really wanted to smooth them down with sandpaper.
Then he took out the Soul Stone, the largest of them, and placed it on the back of the gauntlet. He felt none of the overwhelming ecstasy other people experienced when setting a stone into place. It simply snapped into position like a magnet.
"Oh, right. There's still the Mind Stone."
