Night fell.
The wind and snow over the Glacier grew louder, as though countless evil spirits were howling.
Compared with daytime, the nighttime temperature was even more breathtakingly freezing. In weather like this, finding a snow-covered spot and burying yourself was a good idea. That way, you would look remarkably lifelike when someone found you.
"Are you sure she'll come out?"
Clark looked skeptical. There was no helping it. In weather like this, even the soldiers were reluctant to go outside. Wasn't staying in their rooms and enjoying their warm beds better?
"You can always trust me."
Yang Bo confidently watched the shipping container where Lois was staying.
A few minutes later.
"She's coming out. Hurry. Follow my plan."
Clark nodded helplessly, stood up, and headed toward the Glacier. The lights on the drilling equipment overhead faintly illuminated his figure.
Holding her camera, Lois aimed it at the Drilling Platform above the Glacier and pressed the shutter.
She brought up the photo to check it. A figure immediately caught her attention, and she recognized him.
It was the strong young man who had carried her luggage that day.
Surprise crossed her face, and she murmured, "Where are you going?"
Lois immediately decided to follow him. Who knew where she found the courage to trail a clearly suspicious man on a night when the temperature was more than forty degrees below zero?
It had to be the female lead's plot armor at work.
Invisible, Yang Bo followed beside Clark and said, "Just as I expected."
"Everything is going according to plan."
Clark's gaze was conflicted. He had refused at first, but Yang Bo had worn him down by listing all sorts of advantages.
Lois was pretty, useful, and not clingy.
He was a hot-blooded young man, too, and naturally wanted a
