"You're not joking?"
"Of course not!"
Looking at the utterly dazed Coulson, Yang Bo suddenly felt much better about being ambushed. He turned around and stuffed more ingredients into the Brewing Stand. Its bubbling brought Coulson back to his senses.
Even with his training as an agent, Coulson couldn't take in news like this. For a moment, he had no idea what to do.
If Yang Bo wasn't joking, then even Pierce, the previous director of S.H.I.E.L.D., was fucking Hydra. How were they supposed to deal with that?
The Safe House fell quiet for a while. Yang Bo was in no hurry, of course. Coulson needed time to digest news like this.

Yang Bo was still brewing potions nonstop. Besides Invisibility Potions, he had made plenty of Potions of Swiftness, Potions of Strength, and Healing Potions. If he hadn't been so short on glass bottles, he would have brewed a lifetime's supply today.
"Yang, what evidence do you have to prove what you're saying?"
Deep down, Coulson didn't want to believe Yang Bo, but the bodies on the floor couldn't be faked. They really were members of a S.H.I.E.L.D. task force. More importantly, Yang Bo had killed them, yet Coulson, the agent responsible for contact with him, hadn't heard a thing. That clearly meant someone within S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't want him to know, and that someone had very high clearance.
"I don't have any evidence!"
"Coulson, you've got something wrong here. I'm just an ordinary civilian who was attacked by S.H.I.E.L.D.! All I can do now is retaliate. Evidence means absolutely nothing to me!"
"S.H.I.E.L.D. is beyond saving. Rather than S.H.I.E.L.D., you might as well call it Serpent S.H.I.E.L.D.!"
"I'm only telling you this because I consider you a friend. It's that simple!"
"Now I want
