Soon, the towering buildings around them grew fewer and fewer as Coulson took Yang Bo to a residential neighborhood in New York. Although they had left the bustling city center, Yang Bo felt that the surroundings here were much nicer than living in a concrete jungle.
Coulson turned into the driveway of a small, three-story house. Before the car even reached the garage, its pure white door automatically rose.
It was an ordinary American garage, with all sorts of tools neatly arranged inside.
To be honest, Yang Bo really liked the style of this house. He glanced at Coulson beside him and teased with a grin, "Coulson, this would be the perfect place to keep a secret mistress!"
"Ever brought a woman here for some fun?"
Yang Bo's words hit Coulson right where it hurt. He shook his head with a bitter smile. If he hadn't been so good-natured, he would have thrown Yang Bo out. He didn't even have a girlfriend, let alone a secret mistress. What mistress was he supposed to keep?
"Yang, stop joking. Right now, the most important thing is figuring out who attacked you!"
"Yeah, all right!"
Yang Bo opened the door and got out. Glancing around the cramped garage, he asked, "Are we going to talk in here?"
"Follow me!"
Yang Bo followed Coulson toward the stairs leading to the second floor, but instead of going upstairs, they headed for the little room beneath the staircase.
It was just like the place Harry Potter had lived in at his uncle's house. Coulson opened the little door, took out a small remote, and pressed a button. The floor of the cupboard opened, revealing a passage underground.
Behind him, Yang Bo said in amusement, "Just as I thought. Nobody can escape the fate of living underground!"
