Yang Bo toured the various advanced weapons at Stark Industries. Neither Tony, Potts, nor Obadiah had time to receive them that day.
Partly, that was because all three would face life-threatening danger that day. But the more practical reason was that Yang Bo's company simply lacked the standing to warrant a personal reception from Tony and the others.
Ivan wore a complicated expression. On the one hand, he refused to admit Tony was better than him. On the other, the weapons on display at Stark Industries genuinely gave him plenty of inspiration, making him feel as though his mind had suddenly been opened.
Yang Bo patted Ivan on the shoulder and said with a quiet chuckle, "Don't get excited. Tonight, we'll haul everything back and take our time studying it!"
Ivan froze for a moment. Then the same smile Yang Bo wore spread across his fierce face, and he nodded slightly, proving beyond doubt that you became like the company you kept.
As they walked out of the Stark Industries building, a figure caught Yang Bo's attention.
A round bald head, a bulky body, and a light gray suit stretched tight across his frame-it was none other than Obadiah, the main villain of Iron Man 1.
Watching Obadiah climb into his car, Yang Bo chuckled.
"This guy's almost a third of Bor's weight. Looks like he's off to get Tony's reactor!"
Yang Bo rubbed his chin, thought for a moment, then got into the car and told the driver, "Head to Tony Stark's 'City of Freedom'!"
City of Freedom was the name of Stark's seaside villa.
The driver also worked for Yang Bo's company; Yang Bo had simply stationed him in Los Angeles ahead of time. Upon hearing the order, he immediately started the car and headed for Tony's villa.
