"How are things coming along on your end?"
Yang Bo sat by the lake, enjoying a rare moment of peace. Ripples spread across the surface, and soon the fishing float plunged beneath the water.
With a pull of his arm, a fish flew out of the water, and Yang Bo drew it into his inventory.
"You've settled in already? Then... are there many vampires? Honestly, I think Los Angeles would be great. The last time I went there, I found a ton of vampires. How about we head over there for some fun?"
Yang Bo cast his hook back into the water and quietly waited for another fish to bite.
Blade was on the other end of the phone. He had only called Yang Bo once since leaving New York, and today, Yang Bo had been so bored that he had finally called Blade himself.
Blade held his phone in one hand and drove his Samurai Sword into a vampire's abdomen with the other. Watching the vampire howl and crumble into ashes, he said, "Yang, Washington has more than enough vampires to satisfy you. You have no idea. When I first got here, the stench coming off the vampires nearly knocked me out."
That was a bit of an exaggeration, but it made one thing clear: Washington had a tremendous number of vampires.
Hearing that, Yang Bo asked with a chuckle, "How's recruiting guild members going? If it's just the two of us, we'll never wipe out all these vampires."
"I've found a few suitable candidates. Whistler's daughter has come to Washington too..."
Yang Bo was a little surprised. He knew about Whistler's daughter, a beautiful and highly capable woman. In the original story, Blade had even worked with her team of humans.
