A moment later, Professor McGonagall looked down at Coulson.
"Dumbledore has spoken."
Coulson's eyes lit up with hope.
"Since Hermione is on good terms with you, we don't want her to think we stood by and let her friends die."
"The three of us will not leave the spatial node."
Professor McGonagall paused, then changed her tone.
"However, we will send some 'helpers' to assist you in holding off the Dark Elves."
Coulson froze.
Helpers? Could she mean the other wizards at Hogwarts?
The thought had barely crossed his mind when a deafening roar rang out.

Coulson instinctively looked up, and what he saw was something he would never forget for the rest of his life.
An enormous creature flew out from the direction of Hogwarts Castle.
It had a fearsome head, and its body was covered in hard scales that gleamed like metal.
Its wings blotted out the sky, each beat whipping up gales that made it difficult to stand.
"Th-this is..."
Coulson stammered, unable to form a complete sentence.
Someone nearby cried out.
"A dragon! It's a Great Dragon!"
"Oh my God, am I dreaming?"
"Mom, look! A dragon!"
The Great Dragon circled overhead and let out a roar that shook heaven and earth.
Then it opened its enormous jaws and unleashed a stream of searing flame.
Whoosh!
Flames surged into the sky, engulfing several Dark Elf aircraft in an instant.
The aircraft exploded without even a chance to struggle.
Every swipe of its claws claimed the lives of several more Dark Elves.
