On an open stretch of concrete, two groups faced each other coldly.

Hermione cast a Disillusionment Charm on herself and hovered above the control tower, watching the scene below.

Tony's team stood on the left.

Besides Tony in his Mark 46 armor, there were Rhodey as War Machine, Spider-Man in a red suit, Natasha dressed in black, and Skye in a combat suit specially made by S.H.I.E.L.D.

There were more people on the right.

Captain America, Steve Rogers, stood at the front with his shield raised. Beside him were Falcon, Sam Wilson; the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes; Hawkeye, Clint Barton; and former S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 13, Sharon Carter.

What surprised Hermione most were the two black men standing beside the Winter Soldier.

One wore a Black Panther Suit with silver markings, while the other wore a Killmonger suit with gold markings.

Black Panther, T'Challa, and Killmonger.

Hermione narrowed her eyes, rapidly weighing things up.

Wanda wasn't here, which made sense.

After all, Hermione had lured Wanda into the Witch Cult before the Ultron Incident. She was now with Agatha and Tom, having cut ties with the Avengers from the very beginning.

But why was Black Panther on Captain America's side?

Was it because the Winter Soldier hadn't blown up Black Panther's father this time, so he'd followed his conscience and sided with the captain?

Even stranger was Killmonger. This black guy, who should have been plotting to seize power from the shadows, had actually appeared in public-and was standing beside Black Panther.

Was that right?

Hermione keenly noticed that Steve's shield, Falcon's wings, Hawkeye's bow and arrows, and even the Winter Soldier's metal arm were all covered in a faintly glowing vibranium coating.

It was obviously Black Panther's handiwork.

*Well, well, well. I didn't squeeze you dry last time, did I?
