This Luna was a little different from how she remembered her from her previous life.
Why did she suddenly seem a little... strange?
Hermione shook her head, banishing that faint sense of unease.
"All right, those are the three Unforgivable Curses."
Her voice became clear again, drawing everyone's attention back to her.
"Since they're so dangerous and almost impossible to defend against, my personal advice is that, should you encounter a Dark wizard..."
Hermione paused, her gaze sweeping over the crowd. Her tone was calm, yet carried a chilling edge.
"Strike first."
Hey, hey, hey! What are you saying?!
Snape finally lost his composure. With a swish of his black robes, he moved forward to stop Hermione from continuing.
Are you teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts or the Dark Arts themselves?
At this rate, Hogwarts students would soon greet everyone they met with an "Avada Kedavra"!
Are you trying to turn Hogwarts into Durmstrang?!
Snape's expression was terrifyingly dark, and the air around him suddenly turned icy.
"And that's why the Disarming Charm is a defensive spell you must all learn."
Just as Snape was about to explode, Hermione abruptly changed tack and looked at Lockhart beside her.
"Next, Professor Lockhart will demonstrate how to use the Disarming Charm."
Snape stopped dead in his tracks, a crack appearing in his furious expression.
Thank goodness. The girl wasn't so brazen that she would actually teach the Unforgivable Curses in public.
Snape inwardly breathed a sigh of relief.
But...
She really had mastered all three of those forbidden Dark spells. And that Avada Kedavra she had just cast had even been fully formed-powerful enough to kill.
It was hard to imagine just how much murderous intent a girl so young could harbor.
Snape's gaze grew complicated as he looked at Hermione.
