"Crack... crack..."
The sound of shattering metal rang out.
The Destroyer Armor fell apart completely, reduced to a heap of scrap metal.
Hermione watched Thor wield Mjolnir, unleash Thunderclap, tear up the parking lot with a tornado, and finish the Destroyer Armor with a seismic toss that ended in a hard landing for both of them. She had a thousand snarky comments to make, but no idea where to begin.
As she looked at the Destroyer Remains scattered across the ground, excitement gleamed in her eyes.
She knew that old bastard Odin had already dialed down the Destroyer's power, turning it into a kid-safe version. Otherwise, Thor stood no chance of winning at his current level.
The Axe God might have managed it.
Basically, Odin had cooked up this entire feast just to serve Thor his favorite side dish.
In that case, don't blame me for collecting a little interest first, Hermione thought.
She waved her wand and began gathering the scattered Destroyer Remains.
These were all top-quality magical materials. She couldn't let them go to waste.
Jane, Daisy, and Dr. Selvig were still caught up in the earth-shaking battle they had just witnessed, unable to recover for a long time.
They realized they seemed to have glimpsed another side of the world, one filled with magic and divine power.
They looked at Hermione with curiosity and awe.
Thor watched Hermione busily "collecting scrap," and the corner of his mouth twitched.
But he said nothing. Instead, he walked over to Jane and comforted her softly.
Nearby, Sif's eyes dimmed as she watched their intimacy.
Once Hermione finished collecting the Destroyer Remains, she returned to the others, breaking up the Shura Field.
"What are you going to do next?" Hermione asked.
"I'm going back to Asgard," Thor said, his gaze resolute.
