Two figures flashed through the deep darkness of the Void Space.
One was enormous, surrounded by strange fluctuations that resisted the powerful tearing forces of the void and the space that could collapse at any moment.
A closer look revealed an immense white dragon.
The figure beside the dragon gleamed silver all over, darting freely through the void as though it were a falcon soaring across the sky.
Compared with the dragon, the silver figure was as tiny as an ant, yet the dragon seemed to need every ounce of its strength just to keep up with him.
Meanwhile, the silver figure moved with the ease of someone strolling through a courtyard, clearly nowhere near his full speed.
"Brother Xiao Yu, the Void Lightning Pool should be just ahead. Let's slow down a little so we don't plunge straight into it."
The dragon suddenly spoke in a human voice, calling out to the silver figure.
The silver figure slowed as well and smiled faintly. "Thank you for showing me the way, Brother Bai Yi. You needn't worry about me from here. You can return to the island now. I'll head back once I've finished cultivating, and when I do, I'll certainly treat you to a drink. I hope you'll do me the honor."
The two were none other than Xiao Yu and Bai Yi of the Ancient Dragon Clan, who had left East Dragon Island for the Void Lightning Pool.
Bai Yi raised his enormous dragon head and nodded. "Of course. But you won't be treating me, Brother Xiao Yu-I'll be treating you. I still haven't repaid you for refining that pill last time."
"Hehe, goodbye, Brother Bai Yi."
Xiao Yu smiled faintly, then accelerated again and vanished.
Bai Yi watched for a moment before turning and flying back
