After several changes of route, Xiao Yu passed through a number of wormholes, left the Pill Region, and headed toward the Eastern Region.
The Eastern Region was a considerable distance from the Pill Region, though it was much closer than Starfall Pavilion was. Xiao Yu was not worried about failing to catch up with Xiao Yan and the others.
After several consecutive days of crossing space, Xiao Yu finally reached the edge of the Eastern Region. He then sought out some large cities along its outskirts and began traveling through space wormholes.
Even after reaching the Eastern Region, he still had a long way to go before entering the Ancient Realm-farther, in fact, than the journey from the Pill Region to the Eastern Region.
Still, the remaining half month was more than enough.
An endless grassland stretched out before him, its lush greenery filling his vision and radiating vigorous life. Somewhere amid that grassland stood a grand, towering Giant Stone Square.
The Giant Stone Square stood roughly a thousand feet above the ground, supported by countless enormous stone pillars. From afar, it resembled a giant standing between heaven and earth, an imposing sight.
Space above the Giant Stone Square was distorted. Silver light flashed from time to time, and figures shot out of it before drifting lightly down onto the square.
By now, the enormous square was already packed with people. Their noisy clamor gathered into a roar that surged straight into the clouds.
Hiss...
A patch of space above the square suddenly began writhing rapidly, and a spatial rift opened.
A silver-blue figure darted out of the rift and landed directly on the square.
Yet the instant he touched down, the boiling din of the crowd made him flinch.
Rubbing his ears, Xiao Yu shook his head helplessly.
