Hu Tao called Lin Ze and Paimon over and led the way inside. The light was dim when they entered, so she switched on the lights. Wooden flooring covered the entire room, and the decor looked rather dated.
The room was large, but it didn't feel empty. Bookshelves lined the walls, with several sofas, coffee tables, and assorted ornaments arranged beside them. The overall effect was comfortable, inviting, and quite beautiful.
Unfortunately, a thick layer of dust covered everything. It looked as though no one had cleaned the place in a long time.
"Miss Yvette seems like someone who takes real care with her home. This house might be old, but she's made it feel lived-in."
"She probably hasn't been back in a long time, though."
Paimon surveyed their surroundings, then flew over to a bookshelf to examine the books curiously.
