At that moment, Lin Ze and Paimon still had no idea what had happened to Deadpool after they left. They were now standing outside the gates of an old manor on the outskirts of New York.
Paimon hovered in the air and raised a hand to peer around. The Estate's gates stood ajar, and weeds grew thick all around them. She called out tentatively a couple of times, but received no response.
"Hmm, this place looks like it's been abandoned for ages. Could Chongyun have made a mistake? Would anyone really hire him to exorcise this place? Even if there are evil spirits, nobody could live in this house after he got rid of them, right?"
Lin Ze shook his head. He pushed open the gates and walked inside, with Paimon following close behind.
"The address is right. Chongyun said he'd run into some troublesome evil spirits here and urgently needed help. The more desolate it is, the more likely something's wrong. That just makes me more certain we're in the right place."
