"Huh? Me? Kill Robin?"
The bodyguard stared in disbelief.
"...Knock them out. Please."
Penguin gritted his teeth and changed his wording.
Gotham City had all kinds of villains, and Penguin, Oswald Cobblepot, was comparatively one who at least "played by the rules" in public. After all, he craved legitimate status and wealth, not a life eked out in the sewers.
He had no desire to burn every bridge with Batman by actually killing Robin. That went completely against his principle of putting his own interests first.
The two hulking bodyguards were "elegantly" driven out of the car by their boss and looked at each other's rain-drenched faces through the downpour-
Seriously, boss, don't you have a little too much faith in us? Us? Kill Robin?
Even knocking them out is a tall order!
A figure gradually emerged through the curtain of rain.
Today, Miaomiao wore the new uniform Tim, Barbara, and the others had designed for her: a dark purple bodysuit with a blue bat emblem, a full set of protective gloves and tactical boots, and the two-tone cape favored by the Robins and Batgirls. With the utility belt at her waist that she still hadn't quite figured out and the bat-shaped domino mask on her face, the whole outfit bore the unmistakable hallmarks of the Bat Family.
[I've never seen that uniform... Which Robin is this?]
[Are you blind? That's obviously Batgirl!]
[You're the blind one. Batgirl has red hair!]
[Well, she can't be Robin! That's clearly a girl!]
[Don't tell me you don't know there have been girl Robins?]
[What? There have been girl Robins?! Since when?! How did I not know?!]
[And you still claim you're not a Robin fan!]
The two bodyguards exchanged several rounds of meaningful looks, but their opponent was already closing in fast.
