Steve carefully wrote in his little notebook-Metropolis, Superman, Kryptonian.
How incredible. Were there really aliens living permanently on Earth? I thought that was all science fiction.
But when he thought of the invaders during the Battle of New York, and the blond god Thor Odinson in the Avengers, Steve accepted it.
I'd practically fought in an interstellar war myself. Aliens living on Earth weren't exactly impossible, were they?
"All right, I've written that down." Steve put away his little notebook and explained with a gentle smile, "But I'm not an alien. I was born on Earth, and both my parents were native Earthlings. Just like you."
"Hmm..."
There might still be a bit of a difference. After all, I was born and raised in the sea, and not on this Earth, either.
But this was their first meeting, so Miaomiao didn't go into that much detail.
"Good morning, Captain... uh, who's this young lady?"
A voice rang out, and a brown-haired man emerged from the hallway. His gaze was gentle and calm, with just a hint of surprise when he saw Miaomiao.
"Good morning, Doctor Banner." Steve greeted him. "This young lady is Tony's guest."
Miaomiao looked at the gentle man before her with a curious expression. "Hello, my name is Miaomiao."
Doctor Banner greeted the girl warmly. "Hello. Bruce Banner."
"Bruce?" Miaomiao's eyes instantly lit up. "Your name is Bruce too?"
"Yes?" Doctor Banner had no idea why the girl had suddenly become a little excited. "Robert Bruce Banner is my full name. But most people just call me Banner, or Bruce."
"My dad's name is Bruce too." Miaomiao's eyes curved into little crescent moons. The familiar name made the man before her feel even more approachable.
"Well, that's an honor." Doctor Banner asked casually, "Who's your father?"
"Bruce
