Daredevil did not keep Fisk waiting long.
By the time the downpour completely engulfed Fisk's Uptown tower, Daredevil had slipped silently into the building.
Perhaps "slipped in" was not quite the right phrase. Kingpin had already withdrawn all the security guards, leaving Matt and Miaomiao an unobstructed path straight to the top floor.

Daredevil's steps faltered for an instant.
"Or has he planted explosives and poison gas in landmarks all over New York, taken a bunch of hostages, and made you choose between saving people and defusing the bombs?"
Daredevil's fingers twitched involuntarily.

Daredevil finally stopped in his tracks. "Are you serious?"
"What?" Miaomiao did not quite understand what he meant.
"I mean," Daredevil took a deep breath, "have all those things you just mentioned actually happened?"
"Yes?" Miaomiao tilted her head at Daredevil, her eyes puzzled. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Daredevil let out a long breath and continued forward. "Let's go."

Should I say, "That's the infamous Gotham City for you"?
He had always thought Hell's Kitchen was the darkest cesspool in New York.
Here, the gangs never stopped fighting, and their conflicting interests formed an intricate web. Blood and sin
