[Disclaimer armor ×10086: primarily based on the TV series. The cheat only gets stronger as the story progresses, including but not limited to ice magic for making White Walkers, Greenseer abilities to control minds and bodies, wearing human-skin masks to do bad things, and greensight to expose people's secrets... Tons of heroines (pretty much none left out), with plenty of fast-paced bedroom action.]
[This is the Northern storyline. The winter wind swept flurries of snow across the North's gray skies.
The air carried a dry chill and the scent of windblown snow.
Lynn's cheek was pressed hard against a rough, moss-covered block of wood.
Its icy touch pierced him to the bone.
A sharp chill crept across the back of his neck.
At the edges of his vision, legs wrapped in thick leather and fur stood silently in a circle.
Heavy breathing rose and fell around him, mingling with the faint scrape of chain mail.
A man's voice rang out, low, commanding, and utterly devoid of emotion.
Every word struck Lynn's heart like a heavy stone.
"In the name of Robert I of House Baratheon, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm."
Lynn's pupils abruptly contracted.
That voice, those words...
He struggled to raise his head.
But two powerful hands pinned his shoulders, holding him firmly against the execution block.
"I, Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North, hereby sentence you."
Ned Stark!
Chaotic fragments of memory surged like a breached dam, overwhelming Lynn's reason in an instant.
Wasn't I supposed to be getting intimately acquainted with my junior sister?
How could this...
Memories that did not belong to Lynn came flooding in.
Black robes. The freezing Wall.
And... beyond the Wall, those eyes burning with blue flames.
He had become a deserter from the Night's Watch.
"...to die."
Ned Stark's words fell like the final nail in his coffin.
Lynn felt the grip holding him loosen.
He heard the loud scrape of metal leaving its sheath.
The sound was long and clear, carrying a resolve to sever anything in its path.
This Valyrian steel greatsword, named Ice, was imbued with magic and spells.
Its blade was broader than a hand, and standing upright, it was taller than Robb!
Its color was as dark as black smoke.
Ordinary weapons could not kill White Walkers, but Valyrian steel could, making it extraordinarily precious.
Yet the method of forging it had long been lost. Every surviving Valyrian steel weapon belonged to one house or another, each with its own history.
Lynn's heart hammered wildly in his chest, almost bursting through his ribs.
No!
I can't die like this!
Just as Ice rose overhead, a cold, mechanical voice exploded inside Lynn's mind.
[Strong desire to survive detected in host...] [Enemy-Killing System officially activated!] [Starter gift pack: one complimentary use of beginner protection!] [Host: Lynn] [Strength: 3 (weak)] [Agility: 4 (weak)] [Constitution: 2 (weak)] Reference standard: a healthy adult male has 3 in every attribute. The reward depends on the enemy's strength (minimum: 1 Experience Point for an ordinary human). Lynn's awareness wavered for a moment.
A system?
But those pitiful stats instantly extinguished the faint hope that had just sparked.
With this sickly body...
Forget fighting back; he could barely even climb off the execution block.
He could clearly sense that the legendary Valyrian greatsword, Ice, had already been raised high.
It was coming down toward his neck!
Even Ned could not wield this greatsword with ease!
There was no time to think!
Gathering every ounce of strength, Lynn forced a roar from his parched throat.
"The Old Gods gave me guidance!"
Lynn's voice was hoarse and shrill, cutting through the solemn silence of the execution ground.
Everyone froze.
The descending greatsword veered aside and struck beside Lynn's head.
The cold gust stirred by its edge swept across his skin, raising a fine layer of goose bumps. He swallowed with difficulty.
Lynn could even smell the cold scent of Valyrian steel on the blade.
Ned nearly chopped my head off!
Thank goodness he turned the sword aside in time!
"Nonsense!"
A young, flippant voice rang out, laden with undisguised mockery.
"You'd even say something like that to save your skin?"
Lynn did not need to turn around to know the speaker was Theon Greyjoy, the Iron Islands' only Unsullied...
No, he still had it for now.
Ned Stark said nothing.
He simply stood there in silence.
Greatsword in hand, his figure resembled a silent statue beneath the dim daylight.
But that halted sword was Lynn's chance.
Lynn forced himself to calm down, his mind racing faster than ever before.
Ned Stark.
A man who valued honor and duty above his own life.
He followed the old traditions.
The blood of the First Men still ran through House Stark, and he believed that the man who passed a death sentence must carry it out himself.
To take a man's life, one should at least look into his eyes and hear his last words.
If one could not do that, perhaps the man did not deserve to die.
He was an exceptionally just man.
Deceiving him with lies would only invite death.
Trying to move him with pleas for mercy was even more hopeless.
The only way to survive was to pit his "duty" against his "tradition"!
"My lord."
Lynn stopped shouting, his voice turning steady.
He made an effort to ensure every word could be heard clearly.
"I am a deserter. I broke my oath, and by law, I deserve to be executed."
Those words left the people around him stunned once more.
Even Theon's face showed confusion.
No one had expected a man who had just fought so desperately to survive to admit his own crime.
A barely perceptible flicker also passed through Ned Stark's deep gray eyes.
"But I did not flee out of cowardice."
"I fled because I received guidance from the Old Gods."
Lynn spoke slowly, but his words carried conviction.
"Everything I did was to bring the news back safely!"
Lynn turned his head, doing his best to look up at the towering figure.
"The Old Gods gave me a vision."
"Beyond the Wall, something has awakened."
"They ride dead horses. Their eyes are like burning sapphires, and everything freezes wherever they pass!"
"The White Walkers are no mere story, my lord. They truly exist!"
Lynn did not describe any specific scene.
He simply put the deepest fears in his body's original owner's memories into the plainest words.
That bone-deep cold.
That suffocating, deathly silence.
That indescribable evil from an ancient age.
The execution ground fell utterly silent.
Only the wind whispered mournfully past everyone's ears.
Behind Ned Stark, Robb Stark's young face was filled with shock and unease.
His hand unconsciously closed around his sword hilt.
"My lord, he's spreading dangerous lies!"
"Why would the Old Gods ever guide him?"
Theon tried to break the strange atmosphere.
Ned Stark remained silent.
He looked into Lynn's eyes.
There was no liar's cunning in them, only the terror of a narrow escape from death, along with an unquestionable... certainty?
Lynn knew the decisive moment had arrived.
Meeting Ned Stark's gaze, he spoke each word distinctly.
"I can foresee the future. Not just the White Walkers-I can see other things happening, too!"
"Killing me is easy, my lord."
"One swing of the greatsword in your hands is all it would take."
"But you would also be cutting down a warning that the Long Night is coming."
"You are the Warden of the North. Your duty is to protect the North and keep wildlings and those dead things from invading the Seven Kingdoms."
"One deserter's life, or the safety of the entire North-which matters more? I ask you to judge for yourself, my lord!"
"If you don't believe me, I can give you a prophecy right now!"
Having finished, Lynn stared straight at Ned Stark.
Time seemed to stretch in that moment.
Every second was agony.
Lynn could hear his own heart pounding like a drum.
A long while passed.
"What did you see?"
Hearing Ned's question, Lynn immediately replied.
"On your way back, you will come across a dead direwolf."
"If you don't find the direwolf, you may behead me on the spot, my lord. I won't say another word!"
Metal slid back into its sheath, and Lynn's heart eased.
"Take him back."
Ned Stark's voice was still low, but it carried an inescapable weariness.
"Keep him under close guard."
Two guards immediately stepped forward and roughly hauled Lynn off the ground.
The weakness of surviving a brush with death swept through his entire body.
Lynn's knees buckled, and he could barely stand.
They dragged him stumbling through the crowd.
Before leaving, he glanced back.
Ned Stark was watching him.
Those gray eyes held emotions too tangled to read.
There was scrutiny, and suspicion.
But Lynn knew he was safe for now.
He had wrested a slim chance of survival from beneath the Warden of the North's blade.
Lynn sat back on his heels on the ground, his body trembling uncontrollably.
It was from both the cold and the lingering terror.
In his field of vision, the blue panel that only he could see still hovered silently.
The corners of Lynn's mouth curled upward despite himself.
