Antonis was the noble lord who ruled the Lamedon region of Gondor.

His family was renowned for its boldness and fearlessness, and most of those they ruled were fierce mountain folk.

Having fought the Orcs lurking in the White Mountains for years, they far surpassed their neighbors in martial prowess.

Their camp had originally been dozens of kilometers from Pelargir, far too distant for them to see what was happening there.

But during the Swan Knights' breakout, one small cavalry detachment dispatched the Warg Riders harrying them, then realized they seemed to be closer to Antonis's camp.

Taking the initiative, they crossed the Sirith River with their few remaining men and headed west of Pelargir to seek aid from the Gondorian troops stationed there.

Pelargir was the principal city of Lebennin. Both the South Road running through Gondor and the Harad Road connecting to Ithilien
