Danyla formed a spark of fire in her palm, then shot it precisely at the seal carcass beside her.
Sizzle!
Another large chunk of seal meat she had selected was cooked through. This feeble spark seemed to pack a decent punch. It could just about pass for a small fireball.
Hogras clearly had a smaller appetite than her older brother and sister. She was full after eating a little over half a pound of seal meat, so Danyla hung her on Myracis as well.
Ever thrifty, Danyla ate the remaining seal meat herself. Though she did not know how much time had passed, she was ravenous and polished off three to five pounds in one sitting. With her belly full, she felt warmer all over.
Crack!
The remaining two dragon eggs cracked open at the same moment. Under Danyla's expectant gaze, two ice-blue baby sea dragons crawled out together, one male and one female.

Another two little creatures who came with names of their own.

The two little creatures were only as long as Danyla's forearm. Exquisite pale-blue scales covered their bodies, cool and pleasant to the touch. Two pairs of tiny dragon horns and numerous bumps had already grown on their little heads.
Strangely, however, both little creatures also had a weirwood sapling growing on their heads.
"Can that be inherited too?!"
Dense barbs connected by membranes grew along the backs of the baby sea dragons' heads and necks, which they could flare like a cobra's hood. Finlike ridges also ran down their spines, extending all the way to their fan-shaped tail fins. They looked beautiful and majestic.
The sister and brother looked almost identical, but their coloring made them easy to tell apart. The older sister, Jormungava,
