"Calm down, Seasmoke!"
Amid the storm, Seasmoke had been quietly hiding above the clouds with Saewan, watching the spectacle. Then the dragon suddenly grew restless and, beyond his rider's control, began carrying Saewan swiftly away.
This caught Sevan off guard, though the situation had indeed gone beyond anything he had expected. Although Seasmoke was nearly twenty meters long, taking on those three sea monsters would still have been dangerous.
Besides, the damage suffered by all four forces had already exceeded their expectations, so Sevan could only let Seasmoke carry him away.
Not long after Seasmoke left, the silhouette of a pitch-black Great Dragon emerged among the clouds. This Great Dragon was even larger than Dreamfyre, his entire body covered in black-red scales, his golden eyes gleaming with intelligence.
His fearsome horns and sharp claws flashed with a chilling gleam amid the lightning and thunder. He was astonishingly fast, too, arriving above the battlefield in just a few breaths.
There was no ringing dragon roar, no blast of dragonfire. Once he spotted the sea monsters below, he plunged straight down from the sky at an astonishing speed.
As he dived, his scales rapidly turned red. By the time he hauled the first sea monster out of the water, every scale on his body had become blood-red.
"Grrrk!"
The captured sea monster desperately lashed its tentacles around the Great Dragon. But the Great Dragon's jaws had already crushed its head, and he swallowed it in a few bites.
Unlike other dragons, this Great Dragon actually ate his food raw!
Although the sea monster's tentacles continued tightening around the Great Dragon even after its death, he soon plucked them off his body one by one with ease and slowly swallowed them.
The other two sea monsters below had been feasting with gusto. Before
