For three days straight, Danyla trained the two young dragons in the waters around the Shield Islands. The many large sea beasts nearby gave them ample opportunities to practice, greatly improving their fighting skills and combat instincts.
Though Digral and Ophiral were only a little over five meters long, they were already among the finest hunters in this world.
Great Dragons were born fighting machines. With the right guidance, their innate fighting instincts could quickly be awakened. Even the gentle-natured Digral and Ophiral, after training under Danyla's personal guidance, instantly became bloody instruments of slaughter whenever they faced wild beasts.
Little Balerion and the others also hunted down quite a few large sea beasts farther out in the Sunset Sea, catching several giant squid over ten meters long alone. No wonder there were so many sea monsters in the Sunset Sea-the sheer number of giant squid and octopuses was staggering.
These squid were all rich in magical energy, making them high-quality food for the Great Dragons and better meeting the demands of their rapid growth.
The scraps left by the Great Dragons were enough to fill the bellies of Danyla's Firefeather Falcon and little direwolves. With such high-quality food, the little creatures grew so quickly that they looked different every day.
While hunting, the Great Dragons not only fed themselves but also brought in a large surplus of valuable seafood, including Little Sea Monsters and Phantom Octopuses. They had stockpiled over a dozen Great Sea Dogs alone.
Danyla collected and preserved the most valuable parts of this precious seafood, sharing some of the edible portions with House Tyrell. She bundled up everything else and sold it cheaply to several houses in the Shield Islands. Even so, she earned over fifty thousand Gold Dragons.
