Looking at the two adorable newborn Great Dragons, Danyla made the suggestion to her elder sister, Rhaenyra.

Rhaenyra immediately warmed to the idea. After taking another careful look at the green hatchling, she soon came up with a name.
"Let's call her Moondancer! Look, her scales shine as beautifully as moonlight. Once she can soar through the skies, she'll be a captivating sight dancing beneath the moon!"

Aemma was the first to praise it, followed by Danyla and Viserys.
"It certainly is!"
"Then let Mother name Vinylla's dragon! After all, bringing Vinylla into the world took quite a lot out of her."
Danyla followed up with another suggestion.
Their mother, Aemma, did not refuse. Everyone else in the family had a Great Dragon now, so naming her youngest daughter's dragon would satisfy her own little vanity.

"This hatchling's scales are as pure as frost and snow, while the pink-and-gold markings look like flickering flames. It goes well with Moondancer, too. It really is a lovely name!"
