After all, there was no telling what unforeseen dangers might lurk Beyond the Wall.
The sea dragons Jormungava and Jormungar had also grown rapidly thanks to the abundant large fish and sea beasts in the Shivering Sea. They were now nearly twenty meters long.
They could easily raise waves hundreds of meters high and freeze the sea's surface, making them true overlords of the ocean.
While passing Skane Island, Danyla made a special stop to inspect the Scythians' territory.
With Holy Flame Island's full support, nearly half of the once-barren Skane Island was now covered in high-quality pasture grass.
Hardy trees of various fine varieties, standing one or two meters tall, dotted the entire island. It was clear they had only been successfully planted in recent years.
The Scythians' settlements still retained the style of their former nomadic camps, but near the bay stood a tidy, well-kept little town.
