"Aah!"
With even Ragnax, Oserion's only Great Dragon, having abandoned him, Danyla tried letting him ride Hogras. Clearly, however, it did not work.
Although Hogras allowed Oserion to sit in her Dragon Saddle, they could not form a mental connection, making complete control impossible.
So whenever Hogras, whose specialty was speed, showed off her flying skills high in the sky, she often caught Oserion off guard and sent him screaming in fright.
"Hogras bears your mental imprint. No one else can successfully bond with her now. If she were someone else's Great Dragon, I could help, but even I can't do anything about yours!"
Danyla stared in shock at the Black Great Dragon beneath her. She knew Rafa was different from the other dragons, but she had never imagined she possessed such an ability.
"You can even do that?"
"Pfft!"
"I have plenty more abilities! Rafa is nothing like those beasts under your command!"
"Roar!"
With that, Rafa's body suddenly began turning red, and she plunged toward the sea with lightning speed.
Danyla felt a powerful wave of mental energy spread rapidly outward. A moment later, she saw a giant squid more than ten meters long burst out of the sea.
"Squeak, squeak, squeak!"
The giant squid shrieked and fled in panic, as though it had encountered something utterly terrifying.
"Screech!"
But Rafa's red-and-black Dragonfire poured down like a waterfall from the sky, instantly roasting it into grilled Octopus. Even the seawater nearby began to boil.
Rafa skimmed swiftly over the sea, snatched up the cooked giant squid, and tossed it into the air. Then she caught it in her jaws and swallowed it amid a series of crisp crunches.
"See? That's what I can do! Even if these ugly things hide on the seabed, they can't escape my senses!"
