Scorching dragonfire poured forth at once, setting one giant wolf ablaze. Yet the wolf king leaped high again, driving his sharp tail blade straight toward Vermilion Claws's eyes.

He happened to land right beside the young dragon Azure Scales. Caught up in the thrill of battle, the hatchling spat dragonfire at the wolf king without hesitation.
