Twenty years after Danyla ascended to godhood, Westeros, Essos, and northern Sothoryos had all fallen under the rule of her descendants.
As her eldest son and the king of the Kingdom of Reclea, Aurelion rightfully succeeded Daemon as the ruler of Westeros after Daemon disappeared. With the support of all his siblings, he became the second emperor of the Holy Flame Empire-Aurelion I.
His eldest son, Aegon, had the support of Helaena, the Dreamer Queen, and had successfully tamed an adult Great Dragon at the age of ten. At sixteen, he was formally invested as Prince of Dragonstone, officially becoming the empire's heir apparent.
Although Helaena's relationship with Aurelion was unremarkable, they treated each other with courtesy and respect. She also bore him twins, a boy and a girl-Dennis and Danyla. They inherited their parents' excellent qualities and both became outstanding Dragon Warriors.
Having grown up alongside Aegon, the twins enjoyed a close relationship with him and were loyal supporters of the imperial heir apparent.
Unfortunately, Emperor Aurelion lived for more than 120 years, becoming a truly long-lived king. Aegon died more than ten years before his father, so the third Holy Flame Emperor was Aegon's eldest great-grandson, Aurelion II.
Aurelion II, who ascended the throne in year 238 of the Conqueror's Calendar, was also House Targaryen's last Dragon Warrior emperor. More than a hundred years after Danyla ascended to godhood, the entire world entered a magical energy low period, and House Targaryen's Great Dragons became increasingly difficult to hatch.
Of the hundreds of adult Great Dragons, almost all those without riders flew away on their own to places around the world where magical energy was relatively abundant, never to emerge again. These included Holy Flame Island, Oldtown, the Lorath Isles, the Valyria Ruins, Volantis, the Shadow Lands, and Sothoryos.
