After breakfast, a refreshed Danyla hurriedly summoned Dreamfyre and headed for the Dragonstone Forge.
While Danyla had been resting, a shortage of dragonstone had threatened to disrupt construction of the Fighting Arena. Fortunately, she had been diligent earlier and forged a sizable surplus in advance.
"Greetings, Your Highness!"
The craftsmen at the Stone Yard had noticed her as soon as Dreamfyre took flight, so they had respectfully gathered to await her arrival.
"Your Highness, the arena walls and ordinary seating are nearly finished. In another ten days or so, the main stands, waiting area, and exotic beast pens will be complete as well!"
The lead craftsman reported their progress to Danyla with a smug look on his face.
"Our Fighting Arena here in White Sheep Town is every bit as grand as the great beast arenas in Slaver's Bay!"
"But those arenas took years, even decades, to build. Ours has taken just over a month."
"It's all thanks to the help of dragonstone and Dreamfyre!"
The other craftsmen chimed in.
"That's right! Outside Old Valyria, no one in history has ever built a beast arena with the help of dragonstone and dragons!"
"It's the only one of its kind in Westeros! Even in the architectural history of the world, our arena deserves a place in the records!"
While the craftsmen sang their own praises, Danyla had already begun chanting a Valyrian spell under her breath.
"Dracarys! (Dragonfire)"
Destroying the Three-Eyed Crow last time must have increased Danyla's magical attributes. With the enhancement from her chanting today, the dragonfire Dreamfyre breathed had actually turned blue-black.
And only after Dreamfyre had breathed dragonfire three times in succession did Danyla feel a trace of fatigue.
Once she had finished making today's dragonstone, all the stone needed for the Fighting Arena had been forged.
