I haven't been feeling well these past few days, but I can't keep delaying updates, so here's a chapter giving a general overview of the plot.

As for plot progression, I've already tested it in my other book, A Slight Smile. Although the plot changed a little, those changes only came late in the story, and overall, it was the same with or without the protagonist.

But that was also because I put myself into it. Those ideas were all from 2017, and they're very different from how I think these days.

Now, about this book: the early plot will still follow roughly the same course. I'll do my best to change any characters who need changing. After all, a text version of the original really doesn't measure up to watching the anime or reading the manga.

But since the early story involves the confrontation between Senku and Tsukasa, and the protagonist gets along well with both sides, the main conflicts and plot changes won't happen here. The biggest changes will be on Treasure Island and in America.

I only read as far as Senku fleeing to a strait, and didn't really read much after that.

Of course, I don't even know whether I'll get that far in writing.

After all, there's genuinely a chance I could die suddenly because of my health, so I'm temporarily cutting back from two updates a day to one.

I'll work hard to revise the later plot and avoid having this fanfic turn out less entertaining than the original.

Let me also talk about the protagonist's characterization.

Because his body was so weak in his previous life, he longed for a healthy one, and wanted to use his brain's capacity for learning to study medicine and save himself.

He practiced martial arts from childhood and was also proficient with all kinds of weapons.

If I really had to give them a ranking, it would look something like this.

Tsukasa is stronger than Chen Yu, but Chen Yu can beat Tsukasa when he's enraged. I won't say exactly where his upper limit lies just yet.

Then there's the question of the female lead. I'd like everyone's suggestions on this part. After all, I added this female lead on a whim, and she might not be what you had in mind.

That's about all I have to say. Oh, right, I added a support Medical Team to this story.

I don't recall seeing any doctors in the original. I originally wanted to include immortal cultivation, too, but on second thought, that seemed too far-fetched, so I passed on it.

As for whether there will be other teams later, I don't know yet. We'll see when we get there. Also, has anyone noticed that I gave particular emphasis to something in one part of the story?

I think I've brought it up several times, too.

It'll play a major role later. Specifically, it'll come up on Treasure Island and in America.

Now, let's talk about the protagonist's medical skills.

They're similar to what you'd find in traditional wuxia stories. After all, things like sealing with qi have already appeared, so it's getting pretty fantastical.

The protagonist's medical skills are unrivaled-unrivaled in this world, you could say. As for how the story will end and what will happen to him, I haven't decided yet.

Unfortunately, some iconic scenes might not appear, though others will.

Since the America arc hasn't been adapted into anime, working out the plot and dialogue from the black-and-white manga will be difficult. Treasure Island won't be a problem, though the plot will move very quickly.

The Treasure Island arc will undergo major revisions, though not that much will change. I only skimmed the America arc, so I might fast-forward straight to the trip to the moon, which would be the finale.

After all, I don't want the book to disappear halfway through writing it, or to stop updating because I can't keep going or because of some other problem.

I hope everyone can understand. Then there are the typos and the character names. I misspelled Kaseki's name, and none of you said anything.

But the strangest thing is the comments.

I saw that there were actually nineteen comments yesterday, but I looked everywhere and could only find two or three...

Was something glitching on my end?

That's all. See you tomorrow, and wish me better and better health.
