Once they returned to the village, Chen Yu first checked on the people who had been pricked earlier. There was nothing seriously wrong with them. Since the substance had been produced in batches, the time each person took to wake up varied.
Chen Yu set up his clinic again.
Some injured people saw Chen Yu taking patients, but the dark aura rising behind him and his seemingly kindly smile frightened them too much to approach.
However, one sharp-eyed person spotted several people approaching from the other side of the bridge. Reiko, Miwa, and Xiao Xi were the first three to catch his attention.
At the sight of them, everyone rushed over to the three women.
The three had been walking along, chatting and laughing, when a mass of shadows suddenly loomed over them. Looking closer, they realized it was a group of people from the Tsukasa Empire.
Before they could react, the people hauled them over. Then came chairs, tables, paper, pens, needles, herbs, cloth pads, and everything else, all in one smooth sequence. After that, everyone started lining up.
Chen Yu, sitting nearby, was left utterly speechless.
