The booklet turned out to be a set of artifact-refining notes written by a master artificer of the Demonic Path. It recorded the methods for crafting the White Bone Fiend and the Yin Soul Banner, a puppet and a magical artifact commonly used by the Black Soul Sect, as well as the method for crafting another magical artifact, the White Bone Yin Demon Banner.
The first two were nothing special; almost every Black Soul Sect disciple knew how to craft them. The White Bone Yin Demon Banner, however, was a high-grade magical artifact that could only be crafted by combining a White Bone Fiend with a Yin Soul Banner.
According to the booklet, the stronger the White Bone Fiend raised in the early stages and the more powerful the Yin Soul Banner, the higher the tier of the White Bone Yin Demon Banner produced by combining them. It was even possible to craft a second-tier or third-tier magical artifact directly.
Third-tier magical artifacts were high-grade artifacts that only Golden Core patriarchs could possess. Only upon reaching the third tier could a magical artifact change size at will, shift from solid to intangible, and be nurtured within a cultivator's Divine Sense Sea, allowing it to develop spirituality and transform into a legendary Treasure Artifact.
Compared with magical artifacts of the same tier, Treasure Artifacts possessed an entirely different level of power.
If magical artifacts could wield a measure of spell power only through their materials and inscribed spirit inscriptions, then the might of Treasure Artifacts already exceeded the bounds of ordinary spells. They were said to overturn rivers and seas, shatter mountains and rend the earth, coming very close to the legendary divine abilities.
