Arc 11The Floating Life Pool

Su Mo followed Immortal Ziyu through the Myriad Paths of Barren Graves, where Ziyu reunited with his mother before they both faded into Flowers of the Other Shore. After restoring his seven thoughts and taking the treasures of Floating Life’s End, Su Mo disguised himself to enter the Cloud Sect and began working in its Medicine Garden.

  • Su Mo crossed the Floating Life Bridge with Great Calamity’s help, then reached the Ancient Ship, where Immortal Ziyu revealed his plan to use its yin power to revive his mother.
  • Su Mo gave Immortal Ziyu the yin power of the Ninth Realm’s wronged souls, and the Ancient Ship sailed upstream as Su Mo’s flute quieted the pursuing souls.
  • Immortal Ziyu carried his mother’s coffin through the Myriad Paths of Barren Graves, and Su Mo joined him as the travelers around them vanished under the place’s rules.
  • At the Floating Life Pool, Immortal Ziyu placed his mother in the water, and she briefly awakened before both of them faded into Flowers of the Other Shore.
  • Su Mo merged a Flower of the Other Shore into his Divine Sense, regained his seven thoughts, and took the pool, its flowers, the stone gates, and other treasures into his Spirit Sea before escaping.
  • Su Mo collected more treasures with the Void Beast, concealed his identity with Yu Gu’s jade pendant, and decided to join the Cloud Sect to take its treasures.
  • Su Mo and Chen Meiren passed the Cloud Sect’s trials and Mantra questioning, then were assigned to the Medicine Garden, where Su Mo secretly watered herbs with Divine Spring water.
  • A Cloud Sect woman arrived to collect three Gilt-Ripple Flowers, mocked Chen Meiren, and paused when she saw Su Mo working in the herb fields.
Chapters 251–275 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 251Floating Life Bridge

Su Mo reached the Floating Life Bridge and discovered that its floating rocks concealed deadly eerie-fire spells. With Great Calamity’s help, he crossed safely and planned to let the Thunder Sect elder follow him onto a rock protected for just one person, repaying the elder for forcing others to scout.

  • Su Mo heard an eerie voice calling him deeper into the passage and arrived at the cliff marked Floating Life Bridge, where the Thunder Sect elder and others were waiting.
  • When floating rocks formed a path across the chasm, the Thunder Sect elder ordered a Rogue Cultivator to test them, and the Rogue Cultivator revealed that some rocks contained deadly eerie fire.
  • Great Calamity told Su Mo that she could protect him from the sealed spells, so Su Mo sent the Rogue Cultivator back to the cliff and began crossing himself.
  • Su Mo carefully chose his route while Great Calamity prevented the rocks’ spells from activating, making the Thunder Sect elder wonder how he could distinguish safe rocks.
  • Su Mo asked Great Calamity to protect one dangerous rock for the person following him, and she realized he intended to let the Thunder Sect elder cross safely only to repay him in kind.

Ch. 252Little Brother

Su Mo safely crossed the floating stones, luring the Thunder Sect elder into triggering their sealed strange fires and leaving him badly injured. Su Mo and the rogue cultivator reached a vast Death River, where a voice called Su Mo “Little brother.”

  • Su Mo crossed the floating stones and secretly arranged for the Great Calamity to let one more person follow his safe route.
  • The Thunder Sect elder sent the brocade-robed man and then crossed after them, triggering strange fires that killed his disciple and severely burned him.
  • The Thunder Sect elder threatened Su Mo, while the people behind him realized they could avoid the known dangerous stones and cross.
  • Su Mo told the frightened rogue cultivator that the wounded Thunder Sect elder would not dare pursue them, and they continued onward.
  • Su Mo and the rogue cultivator reached a vast Death River and found an ancient ship and a stele warning them not to cultivate immortality.
  • A voice beside Su Mo called, “Little brother,” and said that he had come.

Ch. 253Not an Illusion

Su Mo boarded the Ancient Ship and met Immortal Ziyu, whom he had encountered in the One Path, Three Trials. Ziyu’s claim that the events of Su Mo’s apparent illusion were both real and unreal left Su Mo questioning what he had experienced.

  • Su Mo discovered that the underground river’s restrictions suppressed cultivation and learned from the Great Calamity that the place was an even more terrifying Extreme Yin Land than the area beneath Great Hua’s West City.
  • The Great Calamity told Su Mo that everyone who had entered was aboard the Ancient Ship, and Su Mo found the Rogue Cultivator had vanished before he crossed the floating bridge.
  • Su Mo boarded the ship and found the earlier arrivals bound to its masts, their faces vacant, while Immortal Ziyu stood beside a red coffin.
  • Immortal Ziyu recognized Su Mo as his little brother and said their mother had continued to speak of him after he left.
  • When Su Mo asked whether the events in the Ghost Gate trials had been an illusion, Immortal Ziyu answered that they had been and had not, then beckoned Su Mo closer to the coffin.

Ch. 254The First Person I Killed

Immortal Ziyu revealed that he had spent millennia gathering yin power to carry his mother's coffin upstream and revive her, after failing to save her by killing others. Su Mo gave him the yin power of the Ninth Realm's wronged souls instead of letting him kill the final group of cultivators, and Ziyu revealed that the first person he killed was himself.

  • Immortal Ziyu told Su Mo that his mother had died despite his efforts, and that he had sealed her body and Divine Soul in a coffin.
  • Immortal Ziyu explained that he built the yin ship to gather enough yin power to reach the river's source and revive his mother, killing people over thousands of years to fuel it.
  • Immortal Ziyu said he had failed to defeat the Confucian Sage and had lured victims to the ship until its yin power was nearly sufficient.
  • Su Mo offered the talisman containing the yin power of the Ninth Realm's wronged souls, and Immortal Ziyu accepted it rather than kill the last group of cultivators.
  • Immortal Ziyu told Su Mo that the first person he killed was himself.

Ch. 255Ghostly Souls

Immortal Ziyu awakened the Ancient Ship and set it upstream along the Yin River to save his mother, while Su Mo grappled with grief despite lacking his Seven Thoughts. As Ghostly Souls pursued the vessel and its bound passengers awoke, Su Mo was recognized by the woman he had given the Golden Duckweed and by a fan-holding man who called him Su Jingyan.

  • Immortal Ziyu poured Yin Power into the Ancient Ship, awakened its power, and set it upstream to save his mother.
  • Su Mo sat beside the Redwood Coffin and wondered why he still felt grief with his Seven Thoughts missing.
  • The Great Calamity and the Mysterious Maiden sensed that the journey reminded them of a person and discussed Eternal Life.
  • Ghostly Souls rose from the widening Yin River and pursued the Ancient Ship as Su Mo and Immortal Ziyu watched.
  • The bound Immortal Cultivators awoke, found themselves unable to use Spiritual Power or escape their restraints, and saw Su Mo standing beside Immortal Ziyu.
  • The woman who had received the Golden Duckweed recognized Su Mo, and a fan-holding man looked up and called him Su Jingyan.

Ch. 256No Way Forward at the End

Su Mo played the Heart Flute to soothe the wandering souls as the Ancient Ship carried Immortal Ziyu toward the end of the Yin River. There, Immortal Ziyu found only a vast burial ground instead of the place he believed could resurrect his mother, and he refused to accept the failure.

  • As wronged souls nearly caught the Ancient Ship, Su Mo played the Heart Flute and quieted their cries with his melody.
  • Immortal Ziyu praised the nameless tune, and Su Mo named it “For Peace,” prompting Immortal Ziyu to admit that he could not turn back.
  • The Ancient Ship entered a barren expanse of nothingness filled with ancient stone gravestones, where Immortal Ziyu found no sign of yin giving rise to yang.
  • Immortal Ziyu realized that his plans and the countless killings he had carried out over ten thousand years had failed to bring back his mother.
  • Immortal Ziyu became desperate and insisted that he would find a way to resurrect his mother.

Ch. 257Identity exposed

Immortal Ziyu carried the Redwood Coffin into the Myriad Paths of Barren Graves after the Yin Boat could go no farther, while Su Mo freed the captives and prepared to follow. The Young Master of the Cloud Sect exposed Su Mo’s identity, and the chapter ended with Su Mo confronting him about whether he was still using his Dao body.

  • Immortal Ziyu carried the Redwood Coffin off the Ancient Ship and walked deeper into the Myriad Paths of Barren Graves.
  • Su Mo freed the woman who had given him the Golden Duckweed, and she untied the other captives.
  • The Young Master of the Cloud Sect tried to persuade Su Mo to stay with the group, then revealed his name to the others.
  • The Thunder Sect Elder and the Elder of the Cloud Sect blocked Su Mo’s path as the cultivators reacted to learning his identity.
  • The Young Master of the Cloud Sect called Su Mo a mere Nascent Soul cultivator, and Su Mo asked whether the Young Master was still using his Dao body.

Ch. 258Walking with a Coffin on His Back

Su Mo used his surviving divine race power to kill the Cloud Sect's young master and two elders after they threatened him in the Extreme Yin Land. He then followed Immortal Ziyu deeper among the tombs, hoping to find a way to bring someone back to life.

  • Su Mo revealed that his cultivation remained intact, killed the Cloud Sect's young master's Dao Body, and then killed the Thunder Sect Elder and the Cloud Sect elder.
  • The remaining people backed down, and the woman Su Mo had saved cautiously asked to follow him.
  • Su Mo left without answering and headed after Immortal Ziyu, while the woman and the others followed him.
  • Su Mo walked deeper among ancient tombs and stone steles, seeking a place that could bring the dead back to life.

Ch. 259Obsession, obsession

Su Mo carried Immortal Ziyu’s Redwood Coffin deeper into the grave-filled land, where the burial rules steadily eroded the travelers behind them. As Immortal Ziyu pressed on toward the distant rosy light despite nearing dissolution, a woman at the rear found the will to survive for her bedridden younger sister.

  • Su Mo caught up with Immortal Ziyu and saw the burial rules stripping away the light around him as he carried the coffin.
  • Su Mo took the heavy Redwood Coffin onto his own back, and the two continued deeper among the graves.
  • A traveler collapsed under the yin power and vanished as a gravestone bearing their name rose in their place.
  • Su Mo warned Immortal Ziyu to stop, but Immortal Ziyu continued, saying his mother was still waiting for him.
  • More travelers faltered, while Su Mo grew stronger in the yin power and glimpsed distant rosy light.
  • The woman Su Mo had saved stopped near the rear, thought of her bedridden younger sister, and resolved to leave alive.

Ch. 260Floating Life Pool

Su Mo and Immortal Ziyu struggled through a graveyard toward the rosy light as Immortal Ziyu’s lingering thought faded. Beyond the mist, they found the Floating Life Pool and a field of Flowers of the Other Shore.

  • Su Mo encouraged a woman behind him to keep walking when yin power and exhaustion nearly overcame her.
  • Immortal Ziyu grew increasingly transparent as the place’s rules stripped away his lingering thought, and Su Mo found no way to help him.
  • Immortal Ziyu refused to stop, insisting that reaching the rosy light could bring his mother back to life, and continued despite Su Mo’s warning.
  • Inside Su Mo’s Spirit Sea, Great Calamity told Mysterious Maiden about Girl, a Flower of the Other Shore, and Mysterious Maiden discovered glowing writing on a nearby stele.
  • Su Mo and Immortal Ziyu passed through the mist and found the Floating Life Pool, two gates labeled Life Gate and Death Gate, and a field of Flowers of the Other Shore.

Ch. 261Two Besotted Souls

Immortal Ziyu placed his mother in the Floating Life Pool, where the spring’s rosy light restored her body and she slowly opened her eyes. Su Mo sat among the Flowers of the Other Shore, longing for Girl, as Qing Yi and the others arrived and watched the two besotted figures.

  • Su Mo found the Flowers of the Other Shore blooming beside the Floating Life Pool and read the stele’s verses about eternal life and reincarnation.
  • Immortal Ziyu carried his mother from the Redwood Coffin and placed her in the pool, where her body regained color and fullness.
  • Su Mo sat among the flowers, imagining Girl beside him and calling out that he missed her.
  • Qing Yi and the others emerged from the mist, saw the two white-robed figures, and stayed back rather than approach.
  • The woman Su Mo had saved questioned whether Immortal Ziyu had someone he missed and reconsidered the boundary between good and evil.
  • Immortal Ziyu began to fade as his mother, surrounded by Ten Thousand Rosy Dawn Lights, slowly opened her eyes.

Ch. 262Pale Moon over a High Tower

Immortal Ziyu reunited with his mother after waiting more than ten thousand years, but discovered that she was fading and could not truly return to life. After she comforted him and he let go of his obsession, they embraced and vanished, leaving two flowers of the Other Shore.

  • Immortal Ziyu greeted his awakened mother and told her he had endured any sin and hardship to see her again.
  • Immortal Ziyu noticed that his mother was turning transparent, and the inscription on the Floating Life Pool made him realize that the dead could not return without reincarnation.
  • Immortal Ziyu mourned that his ten thousand years of plans had failed, but his mother reminded him that their brief reunion had made her content.
  • Immortal Ziyu accepted that he was happy to see his mother, embraced her, and faded away with her, leaving two flowers of the Other Shore.

Ch. 263Girl's Deception

Su Mo realized that Girl had deceived him about how easily Flowers of the Other Shore could be found, because they were formed from profound longing and could not be grown without it. As the others left through the Gate of Life, Su Mo stayed behind, unsettled by the aura he sensed beyond the Gate of Death.

  • Su Mo saw Immortal Ziyu and his mother become Flowers of the Other Shore and understood that the flowers formed from yearning.
  • Su Mo concluded that Girl had lied about finding a flower easily to give him hope, knowing he could not create the flowers himself.
  • A woman urged Su Mo to accept his grief, and he told her and the others to leave.
  • Su Mo sensed the outside world beyond the Gate of Life and the aura of the Divine Realm beyond the Gate of Death, then pointed the others toward the Gate of Life.
  • The Rogue Cultivator and the others left through the Gate of Life, while Su Mo refused to go with them.

Ch. 264Desire returned

Su Mo learned about the Nine Realms’ Seal-Seizing Battle and decided to enter the forbidden lands to seek his senior brothers and sisters. He merged a flower of the Other Shore into his Divine Sense, gaining new powers, just as his seven thoughts returned and drove him to claim the Divine Spring’s water.

  • Qing Yi explained that prodigies from the Nine Realms would compete for Divine Seals when the forbidden lands opened in a year, and Su Mo said he would participate.
  • After Qing Yi left through the Life Gate, Su Mo decided to become symbiotic with a flower of the Other Shore.
  • Su Mo merged the flower into his Divine Sense, gaining an aura that freed his cultivation from the local restrictions and let him identify medicinal and poisonous plants.
  • A streak of purple light entered Su Mo, restoring his seven thoughts and filling him with desire to possess everything.
  • Su Mo entered his Spirit Sea, dug a pool and channel for the Divine Spring’s water, then returned and summoned the Spirit Sea Gate inside the spring pool.

Ch. 265Not a Blade of Grass Left

Su Mo stripped Floating Life's End of its Divine Water, plants, soil, stone monuments, gates, and teleportation formation core stones, carrying them into his Spirit Sea. He then used Confucian Dao True Words to leave with the Void Beast, leaving the place completely devastated.

  • Su Mo summoned the Spirit Sea Gate into the Floating Life Pool and drew the Divine Water into his Spirit Sea.
  • Su Mo tore up the surrounding turf, took the Flowers of the Other Shore, and uprooted the Floating Life Pool stele for his Spirit Sea.
  • Su Mo carried the Stone Gates marked with “death” and “life” into his Spirit Sea, while Great Calamity tried to justify his actions to the Mysterious Maiden.
  • Su Mo brought in damp soil and the teleportation formation’s two core stones, prompting Great Calamity to berate him for making it impossible to leave.
  • Su Mo used the Confucian Dao True Words to vanish from Floating Life’s End with the Void Beast, leaving no blade of grass behind.

Ch. 266Desires

After his desire returned, Su Mo became fixated on wealth, lamenting the treasures the Void Beast had eaten and seeking more unusual treasures. He began collecting riches from the riverbed, then adopted a grand, sorrowful pose as Yu Gu and Yu Mu watched.

  • Su Mo reproached the Void Beast for eating the treasures the little fish had brought, and learned that it had digested them all.
  • Su Mo asked Yu Gu for unusual treasures, and Yu Gu gave him the River Moon jade pendant, which could conceal his aura and change his face.
  • Su Mo eyed Yu Mu for the bronze cauldron he had given her, but turned away, unable to ask for it back.
  • When the golden little fish brought another pearl, Su Mo called Big Strong to dive into the river and empty its riverbed of treasures.
  • After Yu Gu praised the Void Beast for understanding people, Su Mo struck a solemn pose and lamented that he had been forced onto the Immortal Dao.

Ch. 267Promote the Great Purpose

Su Mo gathered the treasures the Void Beast had looted and decided to leave, urging it to keep collecting everything they could find. Before departing, he took the sorrowful little fish with him into his Spirit Sea.

  • The Void Beast returned to the Floating Bridge and spat out its underground treasures, which Su Mo eagerly collected.
  • Yu Gu warned Su Mo that the Cloud Sect might come after him, then left with Yu Mu after persuading him that more treasures awaited elsewhere.
  • Su Mo stored the treasures in a sealed cave in his Spirit Sea and told the Void Beast their guiding principle was to leave nothing behind.
  • Su Mo confirmed that the Void Beast had taken everything it could underwater and decided they should leave, though he did not know where to go.
  • Su Mo invited the little fish to come along, scooped it from the river, and carried it into his Spirit Sea.

Ch. 268Arch-enemy

Su Mo hid in his spirit sea to evade the Cloud Sect, then discovered and erased the aura the Young Master of the Cloud Sect had left on him. After the sect’s search failed, Su Mo decided to join the Cloud Sect and take its treasures.

  • Su Mo made a pond in his spirit sea for the little fish and brought the nearby hut, bridge, and boat inside.
  • The Great Calamity warned Su Mo that Cloud Sect cultivators were approaching, so Su Mo and the Void Beast hid in his spirit sea.
  • The Young Master of the Cloud Sect told the Sect Master that Su Mo had killed his incarnation and blamed him for the death of a Cloud Sect elder.
  • The Sect Master ordered the elders to search for Su Mo, but they found no trace of him and returned to the sect.
  • Su Mo found and erased the Young Master of the Cloud Sect’s hidden aura, then declared that he would join the Cloud Sect and take its treasures.

Ch. 269Chen Meiren

Su Mo disguised himself as Yan Jingshu and entered the city beneath the Cloud Sect to join its outer disciple assessment. He befriended Chen Meiren, who planned to join for the sect’s fairies, and was left wondering how difficult it would be to enter the inner sect and plunder its treasures.

  • Su Mo used Yu Gu’s Jade Pendant to conceal his identity and appearance, then entered the busy city near the Cloud Sect.
  • Su Mo let the Void Beast roam on its own while he prepared to join the Cloud Sect’s outer disciple assessment.
  • Chen Meiren approached Su Mo, and they agreed that Su Mo would take the treasures while Chen Meiren pursued the fairies.
  • Su Mo introduced himself as Yan Jingshu, and Chen Meiren told him the Cloud Sect was recruiting widely after suffering devastating losses in the Lower Realm.
  • Chen Meiren said the assessment was the next day and required Foundation Establishment or above, then left to join the outer sect.
  • Su Mo wondered whether entering the inner sect was difficult, since he intended to empty it of its treasures.

Ch. 270Ascending the Cloud Ladder

Su Mo joined thousands of hopefuls climbing the Cloud Ladder to qualify for the Cloud Sect's assessment, hiding his extraordinary ability while trying to resist the Spirit Stones lining the stairs. He reached the top first, drew only brief curiosity from the sect members, and waited as the time limit expired and most candidates were eliminated.

  • The Gray-Haired Elder announced that candidates had to climb the Cloud Ladder within the time it took an incense stick to burn to qualify for the assessment.
  • The Cloud Ladder's restrictions made the candidates struggle, but Su Mo was unaffected and kept a moderate pace to avoid attention.
  • Su Mo became distracted by the Spirit Stones beside the stairs, then shut his eyes and rushed past the other climbers to escape their temptation.
  • Su Mo reached the top first, while the Gray-Haired Elder and the woman beside him showed little interest in his speed.
  • Chen Meiren reached the top and winked at Su Mo, who ignored him as several hundred candidates gathered before the time limit expired.
  • The Gray-Haired Elder sent a young man down the Cloud Ladder to tell the remaining candidates to return.

Ch. 271Divine Paper

Su Mo led Chen Meiren through the Cloud Sect’s first trial by releasing a faint trace of divine race aura to keep the beasts away. He convinced Chen Meiren that an ordinary sheet of paper was a powerful divine talisman, then offered to lend it to him.

  • The Cloud Sect’s Long-Skirted Woman announced three dangerous trials and led the candidates to a forest filled with ferocious beasts.
  • The candidates entered the forest and scattered, each trying to reach the other side ahead of the others.
  • Chen Meiren asked Su Mo to cross the forest with him and revealed that he had a secret treasure that could conceal them.
  • Su Mo released a faint trace of divine race aura, keeping the beasts away as he and Chen Meiren walked safely through the forest.
  • Su Mo showed Chen Meiren an ordinary sheet of white paper and claimed it was a divine talisman inscribed with heavenly script.
  • Su Mo offered to lend Chen Meiren the divine paper so he could test its power himself.

Ch. 272Mutual appreciation

Su Mo and Chen Meiren traded a supposedly priceless Divine Paper for a Jade Clasp, each secretly hoping to keep the other's treasure. They both emerged from the forest claiming they had lost what they borrowed, agreed to call the exchange even, and shared an awkward sense of mutual appreciation.

  • Su Mo gave Chen Meiren a white paper infused with Divine Race aura and his Dao intent, while Chen Meiren lent Su Mo a Jade Clasp that concealed its wearer.
  • After Chen Meiren entered the forest with the paper, Su Mo used the Jade Clasp to turn invisible and headed toward the forest's edge.
  • Chen Meiren admired the paper's Dao intent and planned to persuade Su Mo to give it to him, then went to the river with an idea involving his spare Jade Clasp.
  • Su Mo and Chen Meiren emerged from the forest, each pretending to be injured or distressed, and simultaneously confessed that he had lost the other's treasure.
  • They agreed that the Divine Paper would compensate for the lost Jade Clasp and vice versa, then privately regretted their schemes before feeling mutual appreciation.

Ch. 273Yin Power Interference

Su Mo and Chen Meiren passed the Cloud Sect’s forest trial and entered a ravine where yin power interfered with their minds. They emerged safely, still under the influence of the ravine’s eerie force.

  • The Cloud Sect elders sent disciples into the forest to search for those who had not emerged, while six or seven candidates withdrew from the selection.
  • Chen Meiren asked Su Mo what he thought of the Cloud Sect woman, and Su Mo called her ordinary and said his wife was far more beautiful.
  • The Cloud Sect woman led the remaining candidates to a dark ravine and told them to walk through it to reach the other side.
  • Su Mo sensed unclean things in the ravine and realized its yin power was meant to cloud the candidates’ minds in preparation for the next trial.
  • Yin power made Chen Meiren and Su Mo dazed as they followed the group through the short ravine and emerged.

Ch. 274The Mantra's Question

The Cloud Sect exposed and killed several spies during its entrance trial, then used the Mantra rule to question each candidate crossing a floating bridge. Chen Meiren and Su Mo gave brazen answers about joining for beauties and supreme treasures, and both were allowed to cross.

  • Elder Du recognized three candidates as Thunder Sect members because their lightning arts resisted Yin Power, and Cloud Sect disciples killed them when they tried to flee.
  • A Cloud Sect woman announced that candidates who crossed the floating bridge would become disciples, while Elder Du questioned each person with the Mantra rule.
  • Elder Du exposed several candidates as spies, and they were thrown from the bridge into the abyss.
  • Chen Meiren told Elder Du he wanted to join for beauties, then said he hoped to make them all his; Elder Du let him cross.
  • Su Mo said he wanted supreme treasures and claimed they would all be his, so Elder Du let him cross as well.

Ch. 275Medicine Garden

After passing the Cloud Sect’s Mantra questioning, Su Mo and Chen Meiren became outer disciples assigned to tend the Medicine Garden. Su Mo recognized the herbs and secretly enhanced some with Divine Spring water, while Chen Meiren waited for female disciples to visit; the chapter ended as a group arrived to collect Gilt-Ripple Flowers and noticed Su Mo at work.

  • Su Mo and Chen Meiren passed the Mantra questioning and were assigned to the Cloud Sect’s Medicine Garden.
  • Su Mo recognized the medicinal herbs through his knowledge of plants and resolved to secretly claim them eventually.
  • Su Mo and Chen Meiren tended the garden for more than ten days, and Su Mo watered several herbs with Divine Spring water.
  • A woman leading Cloud Sect disciples arrived to collect three Gilt-Ripple Flowers and mocked Chen Meiren for his reputation.
  • Chen Meiren turned to Su Mo for help identifying the flowers, and the woman briefly paused when she saw him working in the herb fields.
