On this return to the Present World, Wang Quan had originally planned to study the Imperial Scripture given to him by the girl who was missing a bear in his memories of the past.
Yet before he could even begin analyzing and studying it, the Officiant Daoist Nun brought bad news:
Just yesterday, among a newly teleported batch of Orthodox Cultivators, a group had barely arrived before eagerly contacting other Orthodox Cultivators, speaking to them of [Reincarnation], discussing [Afterlife], and talking about [Future].
These three names represented three organizations.
Wang Quan had only heard of [Reincarnation]. This was his first time hearing of [Afterlife] and [Future].
According to the information the Officiant Daoist Nun had gathered:
The latter two organizations were allies of [Reincarnation].
The three organizations complemented one another.
[Reincarnation] incited people to rebel, overturn everything that existed, and overthrow every injustice.
[Afterlife] preached that one could start over after death. Even after falling into the Underworld, one could climb back out and live again.
The last organization, [Future], championed the New Method.
They believed the current cultivation system was too difficult: there were too many spells, Fundamental Methods as numerous as the stars, countless restrictions on cultivation, and, worse still, a vast ocean of resources to consume.
The current cultivation system was dross, a backward product that belonged to the old era and should be eliminated.
The New Method, which consumed fewer resources and allowed faster advancement, was the true way forward.
No sooner had these fellows begun spreading their crooked doctrines than the Officiant Daoist Nun had people arrest them.
They were now imprisoned in the dungeon, awaiting Wang Quan's decision.
With a single word from Wang Quan, they could become new beings such as zombies or vengeful ghosts, contributing their light and heat to Stone City's
