White Raven, perched atop the ghost god's head, spoke. "As Lord Ghost God's closest underling, I ought to get ten Green Beetles from each of you."
The ghosts and monsters nodded. "Only right!"

The ghost god frowned. "I have so many underlings. What gives you the right to collect money?"
White Raven cackled. "I'm collecting money to work for you!"
"You just collect your money and rest. I'll help you organize these underlings."
"I'll do all the dirty work and heavy lifting!"
Understanding dawned on the ghost god. "That makes sense!"
"Handle the rest as you see fit!"

White Raven was delighted. Having hoodwinked the ghost god, White Raven called over Daoist Two Ravens and some other descendants of ghost gods, telling them to take a cut of the ghosts and monsters' money to handle things.
Daoist Two Ravens and the others found doing the work troublesome, so they recruited another bunch of underlings to do it for them.
